Yeah of course; everyone is talking about "why" freebitcoin acquired FUN token but nobody says "why not", I mean what is the reason why they shouldn't do it? Let's say it was dead before they acquired it, why is it a bad thing that they still managed to acquire it anyway?

It is definitely something I would say a positive for them, I wouldn't really mind them getting a coin that is not used anymore as well, like literally zero volume with absolutely nobody trading it for years now, it would still work, why? I reckon ETH going proof of stake will lower transaction fees quite a bit for them, its a far more efficient process that might even seriously challenge proof of work and BTC method I've been interested in that dynamic and staking since 2014 myself and the POS idea is quite valid to go mainstream imo.
   Why does that matter, it'd be the first big change in crypto for a decade far more valid then the forking nonsense.   I know theres a few other POS attempts but ETH is the biggest most viable to change the landscape afaik.   We live in interesting times  

Yeah, and I think that will actually only just make all these new Defi and other dapp utility explode (since people won't be worrying anymore about fees and be more willing to try experiment more).

But that's all about blockchain dapps, very separate from what Bitcoin is used for (ultra secure value protection and money hedge) so I don't see either as threatening to each other.

Recent initiatives by devs to buy tokens are unequivocally positive.  And of course the token rate went up.  But then I looked at the chart of the rate in relation to bitcoin and the peak is quite small.  Of course, this is due to the general rapid rise in the price of bitcoin. We need to be patient and freebitco.in has never let us down. Who would have expected that freebitco.in would acquire FUN tokens when they first announced the premium membership ? One major advantage of buying the token here seems to be me as well the same thing is the wheel of fortune. Though the price cannot be said that it will rise only but considering that it has come to nearly 60 satoshi so not much downfall from here just in the worst come scenario. Upside could be more than the downfall so that could also be an advantage in long term.

This is basically proof that freebitcoin did something right. First of all we can't stop talking about it because fun token is now part of freebitcoin and if it is part of it and we are on their topic that means we can talk about it.

However what I believe is the main problem and awesome thing is that there could be people who dislike this new feature or there could be some people who are in love with it, but in the end we are talking about it and that is how marketing is done, just get people to talk about you because the more people talk about it means the more people will come and that is the idea of marketing.
