Yes, they have extra activities to earn revenue from besides gambling dice game. It seems Freebitco.in made good choices along the years and were very benefited by bitcoin pumps, being around since 2013, as @hd49728 said above. Freebitco.in also claims they can reduce the interest rate at any moment if they feel it's necessary for some reason.
So far they have been a very transparent company, alive for a long time already and never promising unrealistic rewards to their users. I feel more confident on them because of this.

The fees are quite low now by the way so you may want to take advantage of that. The high priority right now according to mempool.space is 20 sats/vb.

First, we'll add Lightning Network deposits and after that's been running for a while we'll start charging a very small fee for sub 30,000 deposits via the blockchain to pay for the consolidation."

I think the luck draw hourly number payout for the first category is just 1 satoshi which should be increased atleast to couple of satoshi. Though if required can reduce from the last 2 high category numbers so that it can be sort of compensated and help the normal users to have some sort of which they occasionally pic on hourly basis.

I think it's better to open a separate thread for this contest in the Games and Rounds section. The prizes are good, up to 0.0315 BTC in FUN, so it will surely draw some attention, while here far fewer people will notice it.

It is obvious that they are using it to profit themselves in order to give us some returns as well from what you can see there. Mining and bankroll all important, they make money from mining and they do make money from gamblers who lose here, and they are capable of providing a lot bigger wagering thanks to the money we have in our accounts, that is why I believe it is quite obvious that they are profiting from this and because they are profiting from it they are still providing the interest.

There could be less interest because there are places that offer much much much more than 4% right now, liquidity providing is doing at least 10% a year and even more for lower level coins, I have seen as much as 17000%, sure that seemed dangerous to me too so I didn't do that . But in the end people trust this place, that is the only reason they keep their money here, that 4% offer is not the main reason because it is really tiny compared to any other place.

If users deposit BTC from an exchange, they can have problems with huge BTC fees because exchanges usually set inadequate fees (50-100k sats) for BTC withdrawal, but if users use their wallets, then 3-4k sats will be enough to transfer BTC. Anyway, I guess freebitcoin doesn't have any plan to add other cryptocurrencies to their platform.

I think it can't be changed since RP doesn't rely on something like btc price. It was stable since then, unless you're trying to take the opportunity when they got multiplier promotion for reward points that could even get to x5 x10 or make sure you really have to claim all those free RP within 24 hours which is pretty hectic AFAIK.

Be careful man 17000% isn't called an investment, it's called a HYIP and that usually turns into a total loss of the initial investment at the end.  
So feel free to quote the serious places you're talking about that offer earnings above 4% APY in BTC please. Because I disagree with you, 4% APY in BTC is one of the biggest rates you can find on internet for a serious investment plan.
