I don't know why this website closed the web mining but I still miss that feature and I wish and the developer brings it back.

Probably the same reason alot of miners are now ex-miners.   It became an industrial process linked to supply chains of specially designed circuits (and/or supply of cheap energy).  I mined on CPU, GPU and also this website and others, all useful in their day but hardly feasible at this point despite the price rises.   If I knew or had retained the imagination to believe BTC could rise this much I would have carried on for a long time with that foresight but not many knew.   My last memory of mining, it was not producing any real returns  (even adjusting for this price 50x higher I cant remember it being much) and I'd leave it for a day with 8 cores; dont think it ever used the gpu tbh.  
   I'm pretty sure the core of this website is the gambling operation, mining would be minor   to that by orders of magnitude so just a hassle I guess.

Who knows,if they bring it back now but not as everyone else does with Monero which is not that profitable at the moment,they can bring it back to mine Raptoreum which is much easier to mine and it is in its initial stages after going live after being for quite some time in testing stage.The website can add an option to convert the earnings from mining to FUN tokens as the price of FUN and RTM is really nearly the same with only small minor difference.

I 'fragment' my bets for this reason.  So I put some across the ranges so I just earn my bets back and its just a small win and then the larger amount on my target.   The ideal is not the 5x winnings, sometimes its too predictable in the movement and its not worth going out on a limb.   Other times I hope to be paying attention when we are on a cliff top or vice versa and rapid change can occur with even 100x possible, that has to be worth a punt   Just some of it is patience knowing when its even possible as an occurrence.

I am sure that malicious part was definitely a big deal, and I am sure that coinhive would have closed it, but you have to accept that cpu mining at this day and age wouldn't have earned all that much to anyone to make it worthwile to make it stay neither. Oh well that was a turner but I guess it was worth the risk although I think 5x is still a good multiplier to stack some decent profits.
I saw the price ranges for this month Jan 2022 but I see that the multipliers are in the same range of tx to 6x for the current price range.

Oh really now then I had no idea at all, but the main big prize is still $200? That's never changed in the ads.
