I think SWIFT is one of very few tools which may cause really lot of troubles for Russia.
Western politics live in very comfortable environment... Army was waiting next to border, it was known that it costs a lot (also resources) so in few days they must go back or... enter Ukraine. Winter is not finished yet and the Europe needs Russian gas.
Going back to freebitco - I wonder if they reschedule Champions League final game or at least change stadium.

I would guess that the crypto drop right now is too reactionary. I get that the war is not good for the economy and will impact the world a lot even for the nations that doesn't feel even remotely close to the war, but it would still be a global deal and that is why the price of crypto is low right now as well. I would avoid all the betting and all that for now if I were you (on the price prediction, go ahead with others of course).

The reality is that we are in a situation where it is not really that much of an obvious deal, at the end of the day we are talking about unexpected (well not really) things going on and people reacted badly. I feel like people will eventually realize this should not change the price all that much and the price will get back to 40k+ for sure.

Wow, that's interesting. 5 Bitcoin is a big money and we could have collected unlimited money had we known about it 10 years ago.
However, those who got 5 Bitcoins must have spent them already in less than a dollar or so. No one would be holding that bitcoin now which could have changed the fortune.

Why not is in a one psycho mindset like Putin.It is great though that many Baltic countries are part of the NATO and if Putin tries to invade a member of the NATO is the same as starting an attack against the Northern Atlantic alliance and this mean NATO will respond back and we know which one is more powerful.Putin did really bad to Russia by starting this war,now no more US,EUR or YEN trade will be allowed to their biggest banks,sure he must have a strategy as he has planned this a long time ago but whatever strategy he has it will fail in the long term.

We should not be worried about the price all that much when we are talking about the future of the price, but when it is such a close time until the month ends and you have wagered on the price of it by the end of the month then it becomes a bigger importance . I mean it will be 100k+ one day, I "hope" that (it is quite obvious if we do not give a date, could you argue it won't be in 10 years?) but at the same time that doesn't change the fact that I would be losing this month.

I wagered 45k+ for this month and I know that it won't happen this quickly. It is nice that it is recovering right now, the war thing reacted a lot worse and now people are realizing the war will not be a valid reason for crypto to go down and it is going back up.

Yes, negative impacts of events like wars and pandemics on bitcoin aren't always negative. It's true at a first moment it's almost always harmful to bitcoin, but after days, weeks or months, the scenario completely reverses and those events which used to be negative become even positive for bitcoin price increasement. That is an interesting phenomenon that I suppose is related to the search for safe alternatives to protect money value during hard times. Just like happened during the pandemic, I think in a war situation bitcoin has good chances of gaining more value after some months.

It showed good value as 400.000 dollars in Bitcoin was donated to a Ukrainian institution which is to help the Ukrainian military in these difficult days.It could not have been done so easily with the banks not so easily accessible during this time,so yes Bitcoin plays a big role as a safe haven when troubled times are ahead us.Bitcoin can gain more value only if the war continues which I highly doubt it as Russia thought it was going to be easy which in fact is showing to be the complete opposite.One thing is sure though Bitcoin shines in difficult times at least the short history of Bitcoin has demonstrated this so far.

Every 6 months they give away a Lambo; this is currently round 5 and they are already more than 1,1 million tickets! I think all the previous winners (no one from this forum) choose the money (200,000$ in BTC) instead of the lambo and I wouldn't choose the same. Ironic thing is when the BTC price recovers it can force pressure onto the price of something like FUN in that ratio effect.  In dollar terms it might be level still, it does appear nearterm to be rising in dollar terms.   That alone might bring sellers and new supply to FUN token.    Theres also the levelling off from people already owning enough FUN to get premium benefits, so that boost it would have from buyers there does not continue linearly.  I do think the site will have new users and growth so long as BTC itself does but thats what I'm seeing, a slowing of demand and now it has to stabilize and decide its longer term price level; theres a speculative flush out quite normal it has to mature some.
