New month started, I think I will make an experiment again and I will collect my WOFs for the whole month, just to execute them at once. Base prize does not look like it is going to be lower than 50 units, so there is not much to lose.

I did a similar experiment months ago, but nowadays I just play directly my WOFs because you will directly gain interest on the BTC that you win. It is a small amount but even small amounts add up!

I have doubts, is it good to play the WOF directly? there are many things that I like about freebitcoin, and in fact I see that the things that are discussed here I like more because they have helped me a lot, in fact I am thinking of acquiring more tickets, the people who use their WOF more I see that they can have more benefits, and I have bought a part in FUN tokens, for me these tokens represent an investment but in the long term, I believe that the largest investors of fun tokens do it for the love of freebitcoin, I do not lose hope that here they say that they can do more things to freebitcoin hodlers, or make a special scheme for those we buy.

Exactly, I have been with Freebitco.in since this Lottery was launched and I have never won the lottery... not even once. I have way more than 2000 to 5000 tickets, so if that statement was correct.... I would have won it several times before. 

I have a lot of active referrals that are generating a lot of Satoshi's via the referral system and I use some of my own coins to buy Lotto tickets and to wager on the site... but I never win.

I think you have not seen the winner in previous rounds. I mean not exactly previous, I am talking about many many rounds in which we have seen users winning the lottery even with 40-100 tickets. Some of them might have won let’s say in the range of 100-1000 tickets but they had odds really really low.

The variance is that they are either luckiest one or the users who don’t win had bad stars in the first place. Lolz.

Anyways, Never take anything negative from this. Lottery is anyway free stuff if you don’t buy them with real money.

Even if you do you are anyways increasing the base % of free roll, account gets added with more chance of winning.

Well done mate,it looks like you have gambled and wagered a lot or maybe you had a lot of WoF spins saved for this date,I am still at 82 because I have not wagered anymore since I won the 50 GT prize ticket which I think is the only time someone has won it here from the moment that WoF were introduced.

I am no math expert but to me it does not look like rounds are fully independent because of the block numbers they use for determining the winners.What I think is that someone expert at math should explain to us in detail how the lottery works as I find it difficult to understand with seeds and block numbers.

Yes but isn't the number of blocks consecutive meaning that the same people can be more favored than others,for example I don't understand it but I am assuming the last round to had block 709500 as a number while a week later to have the block number of 750.000,aren't the persons with ID near these numbers and a huge number of tickets in this range more favored than the others?I am having difficulties at understanding this of course unless the block numbers between two weeks can be numbers much apart than the ones I described here.

The block number isn't used in the calculations at all. That's the block hash which is used. As mentioned in my previous post, the block hash is a 256 bit hexadecimal number and no one knows that until the block is mined. When the list of user IDs and their tickets numbers is published, the block hash is still unknown and it can't be in favor or against any user.

Ok now it is clear,thanks for your explanation,this 256 hexadecimal number I suppose is a big one thus not favoring anyone.I was not saying that they were doing it intentionally but that because they used blocks I misunderstood blocks number with blocks hash and that is why it was not making sense to me.Well I have refrained myself from buying lottery tickets as I thought why lose time but I am going now to buy about 2000 tickets as I have 2000 satoshis unused and want to be part of these unknown numbers  .

Several years ago I was betting on Oscars on 3 different sites, including freebitco.in, becaue I considered myself an expert in that department. I bet over $60 in total, and I won back less than $10, and now I don't want to repeat that mistake.

Then you are probably the second person who won GT's from the WoF. I have already had 50 tickets in the last cycle and I was more than happy to see them because in reality it would cost me 50 x 0.00025 btc to buy them all. It's big amount of money at the time and then bitcoin was almost 20-30% than the current rates.

Though it was pretty costly affair, I did not win the GT contest and frankly those are really really low odds to win this contest. That's exactly what I wanted to say, the current result doesn't depend on previous results (otherwise it would be something like Markov Chain). Hash taken from sha256 result as a condition to determine who is the winner? I have no opinion, maybe someone already proofed that hash is "random" enough, I mean, that if you take a look at given positions, the occurrence of all possible values is (almost) equal - I assume that it could be your doubt, you may think that for example number "2" appears often that number "3". As I said- I do not know, I think it is random enough.

It is the amount of FUN tokens that determine your premium membership not the amount of WOF spins that you have. Why wouldn't it make sense to play than directly? Everybody got his own strategy and I used to save them up and play 300 at once, but now I always play them directly. The chance of winning stays the same.

You're gambling since how many years now? I guess it was before you opened this account in 2014. If after nearly ten years you consider losing $50 a big loss, you're a great bettor and you should continue instead of giving up, because very few people are able to gamble during several years without losing hundreds of $ regularly. Even on slots or dice games.
Regarding your so called "mistake" as you say, you can't know if one single bet was a mistake or no, maybe your bet was a good one but an upset has just happened. You must look at your results on a larger amount of bets, to make conclusions IMO.
