The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Care to elaborate a little more as to your reasoning? Many people seem to offer quite sensational opinions on this forum one way or another as to what is going to happen but don't really give any reasoning as to why. What have you noticed that makes you inclined to think that institutional investors are moving away from crypto and stocks?

Same question on here which he havent even explained why he do have such thinking about institutional investors. Ive been seeing some threads do said about the end is near, its already over for crypto.
Im not saying its bad to have such view but people do have different mindset when it comes to risking money. Some may leave some may stay and might buy even more.We see falling prices but doesnt indicate we are just ending up here.

although now the fall of the crypto is getting closer, but right now we can be optimistic and wait for the price of coins to return to normal. we can be sure if investors will re-enter the funds and buy shares in cryptocurrency so be optimistic with it.

And why is this in the Trading Discussion board? shouldn't this be in the Speculation board?

I am one of the believer who thinks that whenever the stocks are going down without nay reason then it means only one thing and that's stocks are being sold and crypto currencies are being bought at the moment. That's why stocks falling. Or at least we could say that.

On the hand crytpo is already down to 50-60% and the resistance level for the same has been proven many times. It can't go down than this and if it does then I am sure it will bounce back to ATH.

Also you should backen your statement with some proofs.

I don't see anything else in your prediction but pure speculation based on nothing. And what actualy have you forseen, do you have a cristal ball?
This price downfall isn't anything that we haven't already seen and nothing that we should be worried about.
You are probably one of those who spreads panic every time when the price is down. Not worth paying attention.

I agree on some comments above, it will be good if you can share more information as to why you think crypto will fall.
Of course you are free to speculate, it's just better to provide data if possible.

Won't you buy if bitcoin goes to $4000? For every seller there is a buyer. When someone sells bitcoin, it is actually taken by any other person, if the volume decreases too much, it would be real fall.

I am not sure about what percent are we going to see a fall and what makes you say it. Anyway there are experts who are busy in calculations most of the time and according to the graphic candles we may see a little in-depth fall. But no worries guy we are already into it. Also if I am not wrong we have recovered it many times before and will recover it once again. So, cheers  Wink

You should elaborate better your predictions with some facts to support them. As I see, stocks got down because Trump/China extra fees fight, and cryptos so because of Twitter announcement of removing related ads.

It is true that we are still in bear market and it is also true that price can dump more from this point. But price is more likely to pump after this when fud will be over. Market need some correction after huge rally from less than $1k to $20k within a year period, and that is what happening right now.

I will stay calm for next few months, even though I will loss 50% value I won't sell my coins....Waiting for better future.

I do not think that crypto will fall due to many reasons. It has been only a hype for 1 year and usually, something like the cryptocurrency ( which create hype ) will last for at least a decade. People keep saying that bitcoin will fall, bitcoin will dead, etc. I have heard this shit for a thousand times but bitcoin is stronger and stronger everyday

When a market is down, people come out of the woodwork to say it's going to zero.  The end is near.  The stock/bond/crypto/whatever is going to zero.  And then when we're in the midst of a raging bull market, the same thing happens except then people think the asset is going to the moon and beyond.  Nothing can stop it.

The truth, in my view, is that market fluctuations are pretty random, and bitcoin is still way higher than it was when I first got into it.  Could it fall even more from its ATH?  Sure, and it might.  The fact is that I don't know, you don't know, and OP here definitely doesn't know--but that never stops anyone from speculating, does it?  What all of us need to realize is that OP (and those like him) don't have some sort of crystal ball that allows them to predict bitcoin prices, or any kind of inside info that would allow them to do the same.

There isn't any inside information in crypto, because there aren't even businesses underlying any of these coins, like there are with stocks.  Thus prices are driven purely by supply and demand.  Nobody, as far as I know, has the inside scoop on future demand, and we already have all the information we need on supply.  People who say they "know" what's going to happen really don't.  Don't listen to this crapola.

It seems that this is a new style of FUD thread: "I just want to save someone". Smiley

I guess that if the prices of the top crypto currencies fall down to the really low levels, the new investors will appear, and they will buy very cheap coins. I don't know when the "whales" will pump the crypto exchange markets, but there is no a significant obstacles for growing up of Bitcoin.

I am not as much worry about percents of the new price's fall, but about how much time it will take to recover itself. Bitcoin needed several years after the great fall of 2013 to cost 20k$. I am not ready if something like this will ever happen again.

I knew the the bear market was coming. But no one listened because we were at climax-peak period. The prices will fall, that's for sure but crypto isn't falling. It's here to stay. What we are seeing is a typical bear market, nothing too serious. At the Time of the last downtrend, Bitcoin dropped from $3500 to below $900.
