no this is not the best time to sell bitcoin you should wait, if the value are more than 9k maybe that is the best time but in todays value don sell, the value of etgerium are relying on btc value so if you are plannin to buy etherium this is the best time but dont use btc to buy etherium just keep it.

be patient until things get better, I believe this is only temporary, so if I were you I would choose to hold my bitcoin for the long-term rather than to sell it to buy ethereum, if you want to buy ethereum at the present price the wise step is to add an extra capital to buy ethereum not by selling the bitcoin you already hold.

I see no reason to buy altcoins right now. They will not rise in price until the bitcoin market recovers. Who can know now the margin limit of eth? All altcoins can be bought only after bitcoin shows a stable price increase. Now I see no prerequisites for this. I long ago sold his coins and now waiting for when prices start to rise. Don't do this foolishness try to wait for man it's the time to mine it and wait for the right time.It's better to buy more bitcoins than selling bitcoins.What are you afraid of ? try to believe bitcoin it will never let you down. Be cool man bitcoin never gonna end up.

if you wanna sell it, just sell them all and never look back because you'll feel hurt when you see the price skyrocketing after you sell it.
if you wanna hold it, forget about it for a few months and when you get back you'll see a smile on your face because you didn't sell it.

i don't recommend you to sell all your btc ! because you will never know when the prive gonna go high again !   but if u want money so u can invest in eth so sell half of your btc

Yes, now the price of bitcoin is falling, but other crypto-currencies are falling, too, and these crypto-currencies are falling more sharply than bitcoin. I think holding bitcoin is a better option because it's the most stable price.

May not be a god idea my friend. Its true that price of BTC is pretty low now, but it’s not the end of BTC. And I think price of all other coins are not different from it. When the market will bounce, no coin will benefit you more than BTC, I think.

thanks all u guys for nice suggestions which mostly saying not to sell all my btc but me already sold all my btc that time and in  2 hours buyed ethereum with all my btc and now  eth grown lot more than btc which me decided with coin market place % ... so still no profit no loss but for now im stick with not to sell all my ETH and hold it atleast when me thinks its gona fall a lot ...

It depends on a lot of factors, including the price(s) you paid when you got into BTC, but the best policy normally is to buy red and sell green. If you have fiat on the side lines, you can use it to buy more BTC in order to dollar cost average or use it to buy ETH at the lower price levels. However, personally I wouldn't sell BTC at a loss in order to buy ETH at a lower price level.
