Investment is always a risk. Whether its in a stock exchange or cryptocurrency, we have to remember to only invest what we are willing to lose. Don't sell your house to buy bitcoin because of bitcoin fails you, you'll lose your house. If you are working then don't stop just because you have invested in bitcoins. Bitcoin is not a steady income. We all know from the start, bitcoin may go up or may go down. There's no telling when, it just does basing on the law of supply and demand.

Better than the end of crypto in which we could use to this cheapest value like before. Remember that the Altcoin starts at the cheapest value before, that we did not expect that it will become more popular and expensive in which its makes some people to become rich. The last sentence of OP wasn't literal no one here wants to lose their home just because they invested everything in crypto. Everyone that is invested and starting to invest in crypto should be aware with that rule/advice. I'm also losing some $ because of the current dip with bitcoin but I don't have any plans of selling my stored coins.

Best action now just see what coins lost most of its value and invest if only it's a solid project.

In my opinion, I don't think that it is appropriate to invest in crypto almost whole of your savings wherein that could be a problem later

The best thing you may consider is that set aside let's say 5% of your savings on your planned investment and you'll have to wait until it will recover back. Usually, those points are called resistance levels. You have to check where those points are by simply going to your favorite exchange and looking at the buy orders. Look for where there are the largest pending orders. That will be your resistance levels. Depending on your exchange, this may be simplified by the use of charts. Do this as necessary across exchanges and you will find what point most people have large orders. That is usually your resistance. Buy close to or before that.

when you trading don't forget about indicator, that will help you to find "dip" price. It depend on Timeframe you use for analysis, if the timeframe that is sett weekly you must patient to holding, if use timeframe hourly you can trading intraday

This year I invested a number of times on my favorite altcoins like Ripple, NEO and Oyster PRL.
I invested over and over again because I see that they're gonna increase their price when Bitcoin and Crypto market will recover in the next few weeks and I am excited that I will soon earn higher return of investments because I take advantage the crypto market dip.

Majority of the investors including me are HODLING our bitcoins since we believe that Bitcoin will go back to $20k in the near future and might zip past that touching a new all time high soon. Doubt anyone would want to sell their bitcoins for a loss and would focus on HODLING their coins until the market recovers. Bitcoin has survived far worse situations than the current bear market in the past and has come out on top always. What makes you think that Bitcoin won't survive this ordeal? Even if Bitcoin drops lower than $6k, we do realize that it will skyrocket in the future.

There really is no telling when those points are in the market. If someone knows that, then he would have been one of the richest.
But as of now, what we have are educated guesses. We don't even know who exactly manipulates the market.
So investing really is a very risky business.

you should have a plan first before speculating on this downturn. if you buy from two months ago I do not think you will have a big loss, because after all you buy from a cheap price. actually you can do a lot of speculation, such as short-term merchandise do and keep on re-so that your atlcoin growing. this is one technique and certainly requires experience.

That is right. It's better to know and keep in your mind how long is your limitation. Don't ever put yourself into a miserable place or situation. Never do involving too much in the things that you have no assurance or your not even know if it produce surely positive things for you.  Having a desire to have more and much better profit is really a good thing but it's always has a limitation. Most riches investors believe that buying in the dip are really advisable to do. But I'm just thinking maybe it is case to case basis and it's depend in the people and it's wealth. there are 3 things you need to know.
1. invest what you can afford to lose and when you are a beginner in this market and to trading then invest a lot less than that. and while you are at it, stay away from crypto channels/advisers they are ALL scammers or if not they are idiots.

2. not all dips are worth buying. you only buy the dip when you see a future for that coin. in altcoins most of them won't even come back up after a dip they will continue dipping more after that dip! and most of them may take months before getting another pump.

3. buying most of the dips means you buy when the drop has slowed down and you see some signs or a reason for the rise and also you dump as soon as the recovery came because that recovery will be followed by a bigger dump. and you only buy the dip to take the profit from that dead cat bounce that the altcoin you bought is going to have.

The crypto market does not know before when to go down. It makes investors worry about risks and opportunities. I have invested and if the market is down I will keep the money I have and can buy again if the balance is. I will not risk more when conditions are not guaranteed to lose everything.

This is the april dip I hope, we have not seen a strong start so far, the price had pump but that was only temporary.
