Its unfortunate that you had such an experience with the ICOs you invested in, But not all of them will go down like yours, crypto is a high risk investment option that you must be prepared to fail when you get. ICOS are good investment opportunities, just chose your coins wisely

Hello. In advance, I'm sorry for my English. But I think it's all about choosing the right company. I found a few rules

If you are wondering which ICO to invest, then here are some small recommendations from our colleague.

Command
- Openness (The team should not hide their identity, there should be links to pages in social networks, profiles in professional resources)
- Experience in the history (To study each member of the team, the experience should be not only successful, but also comparable to the current project.) Did you create similar projects, do you have a lot of experience in this area?)
- Working with the community (Check how quickly they give feedback and respond to "stupid questions." If the founder or the main developer is constantly communicating with the community and do not get out of the chat - ask yourself, do they develop the project or is this an empty talk?)

Product
- Idea (It is necessary to understand technically the product they offer, or ask a specialist and his opinion about this project)
- Technology (Is it realistic in implementation)
- Developments (As of today, in fact, at least a minimally viable product: to study the product, to try, to understand whether it solves any problem)
- Github (open source: whether it is, does the command make constant updates in the code)
- whitepaper and other documentation: (Study to the smallest detail and contact the founding team with the questions that have arisen)
- Business model (Should be implemented in the project structure)
- Roadmap (What are the plans of the team? They must be real)
- Marketing and packaging (Look at their marketing attract investors, do they cope with the distribution of responsibilities and what are the chances of making a successful marketing to attract a client)

Market
- Is there a market (Is there any?)
- Is there a need
- Scale and volume (Is this compared with the words of the creators?)

What else to pay attention to
- Team appetites (If people collect money simply to collect, the attractiveness of such an investment falls proportionally)
- Number of tokens (If the issue of tokens is unreasonably high, here you can draw certain conclusions)
- Distribution of tokens (Further, it is equally important to pay attention to the way of distribution of these tokens. The situation in which the founder reserves 40% of the tokens is suspicious, we recall the first point)

Here's how it is, puffs.

Unfortunately some icos that hold promise may never live upto. All you need is one ico to really take off but the problem lies in the fact that the creator is going to make big out of it.

The success of last year's ICO was connected to a great burst of cryptocurrency market. It led to an appearing of fraudsters, whos only aim is to finish ICO and collect money. Now it is much worse time for ICOs, but I believe this is not the end and we just need to choose projects far more carefully to avoid sponsoring scam. Maybe, it will never be so easy as it was last year.

Instead of stereotyping the entire ICO market, I think you should question your buying choices. The coins you mentioned were not even worth investing and a price drop was going to come sooner or later. So, you didn't use your judgement correctly. Apart from that, at times luck doesn't work in your favor and good coins do end up losing their value. But, this shouldn't be your judgement criteria and you should look at the success stories of good coins before demotivating others.

Finally a post where someone isn't asking for the top ICOs to invest in but posting the ICOs he invested in and lost. ICOs is the worst kind of investment someone can do. Even gambling isn't this bad than investing in ICOs. I hope more people read this thread and even one newbie saved from losing his investment is worth it.

One more scam ICO. Look like Savedroid exit scam with more than $50 mln.
"On Wednesday, the website for the German company unexpectedly went offline and has since been replaced by a single image — the “Aannd It’s Gone” meme, which first originated on South Park."

There are still some other nice projects worth investing in their ICO,
you just have to choose carefully.
Because experience is the most beautiful teacher
that will make us more alert and smarter reading the existing project situation.

Some failed projects have made them lose interest in Ico.
and plus the current market conditions are bad.
investing in Ico is really risky, some of which are fraudulent. But this depends in the Ico you choose,
You must be smart in Choosing the Ico to be Invested.

I am a true believer in the technology. That being said, I think that the speculation is crazy. Some of these low-quality coins with no utility are going for way more than they should IMO. At some point, the utility and the price have to converge.

Even though it's hard for me to believe a lot of these ICOs are valuable and do believe in the greed a lot of investors have. I am investing more on that idea than the actual coin itself atm. Otherwise, I will stay in ETH and BTC.

When people invested in one or more ICO's projects, they think they already made the right decision, of course after researching some necessary stuffs. But we don't know what will happen in the next day after the token sale ended. Even a good looking project can be the scammer one. Strickly speaking, every projects are very risky to be picked as an investment way. We have to be prepared with all the bad result that may occur when we are dealing with ICO's.

Now there are a lot of new projects, and it's really difficult to see in them a really promising one. You can, as an option, try to invest in an already successfully existing coin.

Lol, too bad for you,  I now believe alot more in Ico,  because stop believing on it will never change a thing,  Ico will continue to spring up daily whether any one or even any government likes it or not,  just like how new companies spring up daily in the free market,  that's the same way Ico will keep springing up daily.  I myself have benefited from some few genuine Ico.

Smiley Always think the same thing, myself do not advise now to invest in ICO, because this is not reliable lately.
Better to buy some coins from the stock market. There will be bigger chances to make a profit.

I can't blame you for not believing on ICO anymore  because it's true that some projects failed which makes people lose their trust but still there are still ICO  project that can be trusted.  Choose the right and good project and begin to invest again for in every business there is always a  risk.
