in general, ICO is good only for a certain business and in no case is suitable for everyone. but, as I understand it, the reason for your mistrust - you stumbled upon scammers ... be more careful and follow the projects in which you are participating.

i invested in 3 ico but they all make me uprooted.
1. ATFS
2. BEZOP
3. LEDU
and i think this ico causes bitcoin and etherium prices to drop.never trust again to ico.
It becomes very sad when issues like this are reported and goes a long way to tarnish the image of the good ICOs out there. It is better you do some quick in-depth studies on the ICO before investing. Check out for the team members - who is the developer? who is the advisor? are their reputation and credentials authentic? are the social media platform and website coherent in information provided?. Getting answers to questions like this can help you reach some confidence level for the ICO.

They are pump and dump coins, you need to choose more wisely. Bezop is a known scam and is listed in the scam section of this forum. When choosing an ICO look to see if the project is viable and realistic (close to releasing a beta product is a bonus), most are just full of talk with no substance.

You are definitely right sir. People are easily amazed with visuals and words that described the project but it does not make the ICO legit. They should read the criticism about it and scam accusations and see if they have proofs.

Not all the time and not all the ICOs are failed. It is purely depends on their project and market conditions also play a role at the time of listing.

This is exactly the reason why I no longer trust whitepapers and any honey glazed paperwork that don't have backbone on it.
So it is better to follow trusted managers and developers.
Also it is very risky to invest in ICOs, better invest in altcoins.

2018 has been very difficult for ICO investors so far with hardly any of them prodcuing a decent profit in the days and weeks after completion. This may revert when the market enters its next Bull phase, but I would recommend you to be very selective with the projects you invest in until that happens.

Right on the spot! We can never trust in whitepapers alone, anyone scam or not can make the same good article.
It does make it more appealing but it will never make it legit.
But let us not generalize all ICOs due to mistakes and misgivings of a few or a lot, there are ICOs out there that are worth everyone's trust and support.

I see that you are pick a not really good option for an ICO, but if you do not believe that its your decision. But if you pick the good and better ICO maybe your decision would be very different.

80 to 90% of ICO today are scam so investing without researching first is a mistake and will result to losing money and being disappointed, I also do not dare to invest in ico and prefer investing in bitcoin or ethereum and the risk is only a decline in prices.

The more people get away from ICOs the better as the ICO market needs to die. With most of the ICOs valuating their coins at non sense prices and new users being fooled by them into buying the coins, I don't think the ICO future is going to be bright. Many people are going to lose huge amounts of money once this ICO bubble pops.

if you invest in ico it means you should be prepared to run the risk because currently 80% of ico is just a scam if you want to invest in ico you have to study the project you are going to follow and you should always monitor

very unfortunate, reasonable if you are disappointed or upset over it, but I salute you and you certainly can better know which ICO is good and not. today there are many ICOs that promise high profit and clear goals, but less good in marketing and can not compete well.
I'm just cautious, and it's too risky if you invest too big a value, better value you invest not too big even though you believe that ICO can be big later

New ICO projects they are such, they are hard to believe, you need to thoroughly study everything and check, otherwise you can burn out very much.

we need to carefully examine the companies where you are going to invest. and I believe that this does not affect the price of BTC or ETH
You must always check the companies and this is why some people are complaining afterwards because the profits is not lambo.

Not all the time and not all the ICOs are failed. It is purely depends on their project and market conditions also play a role at the time of listing.

You are correct here but the majority is fail only. Also, a lot of time goes in filtering put good ones from useless projects. So finally when you calculate ROI based on the total time your spent for this, it will not look much lucrative. Chances of success are also lower in case of ICOs.

Investing in ico does have a very high risk, many ico fraud. So better invest in bitcoin or altcoin, now bitcoin price down here is a good chance for you.In the near future you will benefit.
ICO is a big risk if you do not understand what a crochet does, but if you approach it very seriously, it will turn out that you can get more profits than with Bitcoin investments
