I don't know how much they raised on that specific event of black Friday but total raised is 5870.45 Ethereum. It was important to achieve the soft cap in order to carry on the project. They have secured the project and what will be invested ahead is extra fund for development. The more resources is better.

Let's see what is current market price of ETH at first and that is $120. If we multiply the collected Ethereum it gives us a total sum of $704457. In my opinion this money should be enough to start building this kind of platform. If team is confident with raised money then I don't see any problem. Money management is more important than to collect large amount to spend on useless events and things.
