One thing that centralization does for Ripple is it makes it quicker as there's no 'Proof of work' as bitcoin requires for processing. So there is some support for it being efficient. there is no doubt that ripple is one of the potential coins included in the top coin rankings, it's just because there are so many new coins that the ripple enthusiasts are reduced and I think this will continue which makes the ripple difficult to recover to a good price. so I suggest choosing another altcoin
