One wound have thought about waves giving ethereum serious competition. Waves naturally should have as much programmer and enthusiast user like Ethereum, unfortunately, that is not the case with waves. May be in the future waves would be able to get the share of the smart contract market.
I had high hopes for Waves, but those were dashed. A few months back, Waves had a higher market cap when compared to Stellar Lumens. But look at the situation now... The XLM market cap is now almost 15 times higher than that of Waves. |

I had high hopes for Waves, but those were dashed. A few months back, Waves had a higher market cap when compared to Stellar Lumens. But look at the situation now... The XLM market cap is now almost 15 times higher than that of Waves. Don't judge projects by CMC only. Pump and Dump strategy no1 canceled and believe me shit will be still shit (i'm not talking about any specific coin but I believe you know what I mean) - it's just a matter of time when market will be starting to understand what is real and what is hype only. Waves price is at the moment comparable to it's development stage, number of transactions, technology. I'd even say it is undervalued if we compare to a lot of the projects on CMC, which doesn't have anything in production system. Eventually CMC list will change as more shit will come up to the surface... |

But sadly NEO is overtaking waves .
This week Neo, next week Morpheus, week after Trinity - Waves has been around over 2 years. Has had the fastest decentralized blockchain in the world since last year and is not going anywhere. Unknown to the world of Pump & Dump and the Halls of vacuous Hype Waves is building up huge TX volumes, spawning many interesting projects and developing at a high sustained rate. Most people from ICO HODLers and will remain HODLers. This year we will see a project built on Waves hit Mainstream and go viral - it will be too late to get cheap Waves then. |

I don't think so. Waves Platform AG is Swiss, has offices in locations around the World, including Holland, UK, USA and Moscow. Most of the 'heavy lifting' core development is done by the SCALA devs in Moscow - probably the best untapped location for bringing on programming talent in crypto. Maybe, the perceived distance from places like Silicon Valley(US) and Silicon Roundabout(UK), as well as the, until fairly recently, lack of connections to Social Media hypsters made Waves a sleeping giant - but, believe me, It will wake! |

It’s been a while since i have enountered waves as payment of bounty. Waves is also making its platform but still, eth has the most highest statistics In terms of usage and popoularity. but just lately, i have again seen an ICO that uses waves like Holdvest.

After a year long bear trend vs btc pairing, waves is finally showing what looks to be full reversal... time to see the running of the bulls.
And with mass tx script waves just did 426tx/second, on chain, andwithout missing a beat....
Fastest and best project ever.

Many coins are doing that, it's part of the game right now. I don't really understand why the hell Waves isn't in the top 20 by the way, it deserves it, doesn't it? As a long time supporter of Waves I honestly think they should be on that position, but volume never goes down, they seem to be one of the stable coin in the market and will continue to be a top contender, I know that team is working behind the scene for the next major update. |
