How is it possible for a shop to offer a new iPhone for $1.25 or a restaurant to sell a pizza for 5 cents and still make a profit? REMI makes it possible. That is why Goodomy will dominate!

Can you please make a video explanation of this diagram, showing both sides of the transaction and how it will be done in real life.

I really think there needs to be an extremely dumbed down introduction set of images, videos, overviews for how Goodomy works and how it benefits users and retailers. The image in post #139 is a small start: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3223214.msg38068328#msg38068328

I was talking to a couple of people this past weekend about Goodomy and it was a tough sell. Nobody really understood the retail mining, the benefits of it all and they said it was too complex for consumers to "get." (as in understand) These are just average Joe's so to speak. They don't know anything about crypto btw.

Some common responses/questions I heard:

"So what is it, shopping points?"
"Is it like gift cards?"
"Is it a shoppers club?"
"What stores have it?"
"Do I have to use my phone to buy things?"

And when I say "dumbed down," I mean it really has to be so simple a child could understand it all in about 2 minutes. People today have the attention span of a gnat.

The average consumer doesn't need to know how it works. It is also not explained in the app (for buyers), nor does it need to be.

It's down to two things, basically:

1) how much does this cost?
2) how much digital currency can I use to buy this, or how much will I get back?

I can't really think of any popular app that can be easily explained where a person could 'get it' right away. People just have to use it, and for current users it seems intuitive (from what we have seen so far).

But if you have any suggestions, we'd love to hear it.

The app is failing atm at what it should do for the users, i. e. show them what they want or need in the fastest way possible. This is the secret of Amazon and the other online stores... they store your preferences and other metrics regarding the user and when you return you are greeted with what interests you.

We're not copying Amazon, but for now we have categories that a user can use to filter listings.

And, of course, we're still new Smiley There is much work to be done.

Good points. - ebay and amazon are fine tuned retail machines. They should be carefully studied.

Yes.. time winds all clocks.

ebay: founded 1995

Amazon: founded 1994

I know the crypto community is impatient, but that's why we're building for consumers. These things take time Smiley

Can these purchases using the APP be made only on items that are available on the Goodomy platform? Can the merchant advertise items in APP?

Hi. Thanks for your questions. Merchants can post their products from the app.

Purchases using the app are for items that are available on the app.

If this doesn't answer your question please let me know.

So Kos give us some Updates, pls

Whats about the iOs App
Further developments?
OTOL whats about that?

you are very quit since severall month

Apologies. I've been dealing with some personal issues while focusing more on users and looking for a replacement lead developer. Normally, I don't talk about such issues but I suppose the community deserves to know what has been going on.

Additionally, there are some over-arching issues with cryptocurrency in general that has been quite shocking to discover. Collusion at the highest levels, basically determining which cryptos 'succeed'. But I suppose that is no surprise to some.

Hope all your problem solve and good luck in finding a lead developer. I still drop by here just to check monthly progress and I interested to see how you use shoponomy, GOOD $ and GOOD tokens.

More interested in seeing in real how it works ,what I asked earlier.

Gone through your reddit post. It's true that all the hype is lost and people are susceptible to the crypto's now.

Any way, Success and making money in business is a very different ballgame then development so I think we can remain patient about it.
Just read a article few days ago and come to know that initial days of Amazon was also not very profitable.

I really believe that the only way any small crypto can get bigger is through product evangelism.  People still just don't know anything about crypto.  It would be based on educating people about crypto and giving them coins to start out with.  In fact, that is what was happening in 2016 and 2017, there were a lot of big airdrops, faucets and bounties.  So many crappy players came into the game and they eroded a lot of trust and hope.

I'm sure the comparison has been made before but there was a lot of crappy players in the early internet (pre-2000) before the bubble burst. It took some time for the market to recover and then the ones who survived came out stronger.

Crypto could be similar.. but only time will tell.

Take the Community Poll: "What would you like to list or see listed on Goodomy besides the current product categories?"
