What have you all learned about Skein from this project?  I have been working on a pure Skein coin called woodcoin and would like to form a skein alliance.

The wallet used for skcbot crashed a bit. (I won't go into details, but i think i hit an account limit which makes rescanning the chain a bit buggy. So i'll have to work some magic on the wallet.dat to get those transactions back)

Atm skeinbot is running as twitterbot with a wallet from 20 december.

All tips between 20 december and yesterday are lost.

If you withdrew, thats fine.

If you kept your balance in skcbot, it is still there. (excluding tips from the period between 20-12-2014 and 19-1-2015 ) - (This will be corrected, manually...,yeah I hate it probably more then you guys.)

Because atm it is running as tipbot on twitter, but usernames have changed! (obviously)

Except it crashes when it tries to list lots of transactions for an address  I'll sort it tomorrow now.

I've created a port of Skeincoin to the Bitcoin Core 0.9.3 wallet. This brings Skeincoin up to almost the latest production version wallet. It is also a simple job to add merge mining into Skeincoin (I'm working on another branch for this now), if this is still desired by those who use / own Skeincoin.

I saw that fix in the 0.9.4 release of bitcoin. I was considering just going with 0.9.4 but there's been some talk on the bitcoin thread about issues with re-indexing. Undecided.

Reindexing issues seem to be all about it being slow - this is actually something to expect for bitcoin huge blockchain. Probably there are no non-DER signatures in skeincoin blockchain yet, but it may cause a fork fest between different openssl version nodes if someone sends such tx.
