Hi all,

Today again we had a successful and good meeting at which subjects of primary importance were discussed. Among the first was the Foundation website. At this moment we are looking at the data on the site and trying to complete this. From next week on we will try to publish the website and work on it together so that we can tweak the site until it is finished.

Beside the website we are looking into several projects which we would like to see coming in the future. Among these are the completing of several games. To achieve this objective we are contacting different developers in their fields to work with us.

The following short-term actions are to be fulfilled:

1.   Skeincoinfoundation.org website
Gielbier: next week site publishing, plus forum, font
Dosmas: data on the website - writing how to/abouts
pools/services/mining comparision link/faucets/blockexplorers/game

2.   projects
Projects of interest: Mac wallet, improving faucet(design), improving skeincoin foundation website, thinking about arts competition. Android wallet(methmetician), meeting log publishing(Dosmas)

All:Ask for devs to create gambling games
Ask Chi in his network for games for skc
Gielbier: contact DarkRev for Maffialike game
Methmetician: contact Maxalt and Bit for gambling

Would you know anybody willing to work on one of these projects, then give us a shout and we connect you.

Thank you very much for attending. The channel seems to be attracting more crowd, which is good!

Currently contacting every exchange asking for skeincoin, here's the text i'm using, feel free to ask too with the same text or base your in this one:

Quote
Hi CURRENT_SITE_REPLACE_THIS team,

I'm looking at your platform and it looks very professional for trading, it would be great if you could support the Skeincoin on your platform.

Algo: Skein-Sha2 (Unique implementation, no clonecoin)

Skeincoin is a coin that has been around since November 2013 and is rapidly gaining followers and miners. Currently the Skeincoin foundation is reaching out to the general public and the foundation is pushing games and goods to the public buyable with the coin.

I hope  i can hear from you soon

I have contacted Vircurex, Bter, Kraken, C-cex and mcxNow, feel free to beat'em up too because we gotta do some noise before we get noticed.

EDIT: Just sent request for SKC to be added to coinmarketcap.com

Hey everybody,

Just a quick update about http://skc.plasr.com pool -- last week there were some minor issues with strange hashrate being reported on the dashboard page (i.e. it rported lower values). Otherwize everything worked OK, the shares and rewards were distributed all right. It was just a "visual" issue that MethMatician found on the dashboard.

Now for several days everything is back to normal and the dash dials are OK Smiley

Everyone is welcome, happy mining!

Remember to not sell yourselves short, at current mining rate, SKC  should be 0.00000625 BTC, anything below that is a waste of electricity.

That's not very much imho, thought it would go higher than that! But it's just the beginning of course.

More like 24 BTC: 120118 blocks, at 32 SKC e/a == 3843776 SKC at 0.00000625 is 24.0236 BTC Cheesy, at current exchange rate it is a little less. Basically 15K USD. Not bad, but definitively we need to strengthen our mining efforts.

Some may ask, how did i come up with 0.00000625? Other coins, with a XFX R9 290 yield around 0.15 BTC monthly, so, if i generate around 800-1000 SKC daily with it, that's around 24K to 30K SKC monthly, and dividing 0.15/24000 == 0.00000625

THAT'S THE LEAST SKC SHOULD YIELD TO YOU, DON'T SELL BELOW THAT

EDIT: Didn't consider the first blocks that were <1 reward, but that has minimal impact on my calculation.

It seems the Kraken bunch won't help us:

Hi,

Thanks for asking. We don't have any plans to add any other digital currencies at the present time. We're open to adding more currencies in the future, but every currency we add first has to go through a lengthy process of evaluation. For example, in the case of Namecoin, we found a serious bug in the protocol during our evaluation process.

http://www.coindesk.com/namecoin-flaw-patch-needed/

The bug was of course fixed before we allowed trading in Namecoin on our exchange. This evaluation process takes valuable time away from other important development projects, and at the present time we can't spare the resources needed to add a new currency.

Best,

Joe
Kraken Support

However, anyways, bug them with our name, maybe that will make us notice.
