Do you trade for money or emotional satisfaction?

I trade for money of course. I don't trade just for emotional satisfaction. There are a lot of things you can do just to be satisfied on your emotion. I think for rich people who just want to enjoy trading, maybe they are the one who trades just for their satisfaction.

The rich will earn a lot of satisfaction for their emotions by winning their economic goals. The harder the goals, the more they want to go to the top, they will feel satisfied when they achieve all their goals. The majority of people here are interested in the profit they earn from trading.

When it comes to emotional satisfaction, I do not believe cryptocurrency trading will make you high. In fact opposite is the case. Everybody trade for money profit and those profit differs from individual base on skill and experience.

It really depends on the person. For instance, most people just trade to gain profits, thus get rich. Others trade for satisfaction because it is fun. Even if you already are rich, once you get extra money, you will be very satisfied because you did something that others strive to do and they fail. Personally, I trade for both satisfaction and richness (I used to trade in real life). And every time I get extra money, I feel so happy.

I trade is to earn more money, although sometimes the reality is not in line with expectations. but even so, trading can add to my knowledge inside the altcoins market.

This is hard to believe that there is even one person who is doing all this just for satisfaction whether it is mental or emotional. I think most people are trading for money and not for some emotional satisfaction, I think that would just apply to gambling. Like when you are depressed, or going through a rough stage and sometimes if you are happy you gamble just to satisfy your emotions; which is to be more happy. But I don’t think that’d apply in trading because even investors with huge amount of money are in for the money too.

I am into trading because of both my emotional satisfaction and for money and for the independent of time. Actually, I thought it would be easy to master the art off trading but it was the toughest job in my whole life and i always plan and remember that I need to earn money from trading as it is my primary source of income for me and my family. never i heard of trading because of emotional satisfaction. In fact I find trading very stressing, specially if it's the only source of income for you and your family. There is always the possibility of losing money, so when you have bills to pay, and you depend on your profits to pay them, it's definitely a very stressful experience. I was a decent poker player, and once I realized I was making enough money to pay my bills I decided to try it full time. It was a terrible experience, and I just had to stop. I now play poker just for fun again, and I appreciate the profit I can get from it, but I don't see how that can work in trading. It's not a game, so you can do it for an extra profit, but it's not for emotional satisfaction....

At the end of the dsy, It's all about winning or losing  profits or losses. Even those who trade for entertainment are concerned with the price movements. I believe that's the major reasons why people get aboard the crypto market in the first place. For me, I trade for the money. I don't really get what do you mean of emotional satisfaction. If you want to tell us is that you trade crypto just to get entertained or at least have an experience for it and don't really much care despite you're losing or not then that's so ridiculous. All traders who deal here in crypto world definitely want to earn money whether they treat it as their main source of income or only a hobby, I'm very sure of that.

If you look for entertainment then look it to another places because here in crypto world, money is waht matters the most and every drop of it counts.

I think no one people is trading just for emotional satisfaction. may be different from gambling because there is a fun game that may be done there. but I think trading is only for financial gain/profit and it requires extensive skills and experience of trade and crypto.

Surely most of traders here started trading because they are like playing games and thus temporarily relieved from stress. But the longer you do it, your goals may have diverted from what used to be recreational to money-making. I am 99% certain that no one here wants to lose money as a hobby. Hence, the aim is definitely to earn bucks. To relate both money and emotional satisfaction as envisaged in the subject, you are a-okay emotionally when you have finances to meet your basic needs. And to earn beyond that, you must already be emotionally satisfied. Emotional satisfaction can be gotten elsewhere, 90% of people are here for the money. If not for the money then what is the point of slaving away trading. Investing itself is making your money work very hard for you.
