I don't like the movement on Bitstamp. Now I'm expecting the opposite and prepare for a big loss (in potential profit).
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

The Bitfinex Sentiment Index still remains bullish at 1:2.

Bitstamp has had hardly any volume until a huge mega massive buy that pushed the price up a dollar. Seems like it'll just stay there for awhile. This week has been really low volume.

Didn't know the Bitfinex Sentiment Index. Is only one person buying or many?

Are 0.5-buys normal?

I did see the push. Seemed to me like someone is buying "cheap" coins because he is expecting a lot of fresh money after the weekend. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many 0.5-buys. Or someone needs the bitcoins. The 0.5-buying still continues after the push.
