I do not understand much about this new arrangement. Who can tell me if I want to become a member, I have to achieve something on .merit, politeness, fmerit, imagination, virtue, coins, karma. How do you get new rankings?

In the OP it says "Rank adjustments happen every week on Tuesday, and you can only go up 1 rank per week." Does that mean that activity time now goes up on a weekly basis rather than bi weekly?

OMG, just opened the forum to find all those parameters under my name :S

Even I was surprised upon seeing other paramaters under each users post. I immediately look for the thread coming from an administrator pertaining to this new rule. I was thinking that many people will complain a lot about this like when the merit system was implemented. Find it hard to believe as the sound of each post were confirming that it's all true until I see a thread from Sir theymos.

Well, whether its an April Fool's joke or not. I really like the idea in adding up other parameters even though its hard to maintain all those stats just to rank up.

In theory this is a good campaign to promote quality posts. But I think this would be another cross for us in the lower rank. I have accepted the fact that I will be Member rank forever because of the Merit system. Then there is another new rank requirements.
Anyway as long as there is no rank demotion I'll support the rules.

Politeness, Imagination, and Coins were calculated based on all of your past posts, but they don't update real-time. fMerit, Virtue, and Karma do update roughly every 20 minutes. But only Staff, Donators, or VIPs will find themselves able to adjust their Virtue that quickly.
