Most coins have lost 50 to 80% of their value, many tokens that were financed with expensive ether may now have their funding reduced due to their holdings. Do you think many of the ICOs have sold their ether and bitcoin during the last months? What other factors are making the market go steadily down?

This is also a factor that turned most lending coins into scam and some are still in hibernation after their ICO. Hope the market turns around pretty quick.

There was information about the fact that a few weeks ago the EOS project sold about 50,000 ETH at the Bitfinex exchange and after that the price of the coin fell very sharply. Perhaps now, many projects sell their ether, pushing the price even lower.

Better don't touch your coins, just forget about it. This year is gonna be quity difficult for many investors and many projects. I think we gonna see soon BTC price like 3000$. Cartel working, big campanies wanna buy crypto world for less money than now, if goverment can't regulate it they can buy BTC for dollars and be very wealthy alone

most of them couldn't sell their ethers because it is not time yet for them to dump it and the others are slowly cashing out because they are scared of crashing the market more than what it already is crashing. but they are all selling what they have received to get out.

What other factors are making the market go steadily down?
the main factor is the nearly steady pump that took place last year. the bubbles are now bursting.

right now its hard to make a decision, to invest or not. because coins are still dropping down. but if ever you want to invest now and the coins will pump's up its a big profit for everyone who invested.

Eventually, all the low quality cryptocurrencies and tokens will have to fade away and honestly, that’s needed. Why do we need to have all these scam coins without working products or platforms or teams and just tainting the whole blockchain industry. I believe as the professional and institutional money come in, they will rebuild the system in more professional sense. Even in this downturn, institutions are investing heavily in cryptomarket and we should take advantage of it. So yeah, it’s a hard time to invest.

As a result of severe regulatory measures, investors in the whole market began to reduce.
And the social media blockade has led to less and less money flowing in, so I think that's the main reason.

I agree to this. It is better if you just hold and wait. It will be a big loss if you trade your coins. The whole market is suffering from bloodbath and there are reasons that we won't be able to know. Just wait patiently and wait. That's the best way to avoid loss.

Indeed,  those who invested on ICOS before this dump (when ether was over $1000 each, on january) have now all their holdings down by more than 70% aproximately.

Just like it happened to me.

Take a look over all the icos who ended a few months before, they all are in the same pattern at this moment.

Well you got to really acknowledge this, the man has a point. Maybe the best move right now is move into ETH, or any crypto asset that isn't tied to BTCBTCBTC.

It's just a normal correction after such a great pump. Look at the BTCUSD chart. BTC was about 1000$ a year ago and now it is 6500$! I know there are a lot of people who bought BTC above 16000$, it's painful but it's too late to sell. We are near the bottom and the best thing you can do - just hold and believe. Wink

People begin to lose interest in crypto, maybe it is just some seasonal thing, and in the next autumn for example this interest will grove again, or maybe it will happen later, but I hope it will happen, and also Mt.Gox's 200 thousands bitcoins have played their significant role Sad

ICO will never make that mistake of selling the ETH which is their real funding source. Selling the coins at such prices will be their huge loss and they wont be able to payback their customers too. Also they are obviously one step forward in planning their roadmaps and they might be storing them in different assets and see might be cashing out in the fiat too. Thats safe for them and for the investors like us. Moreover they trust the system too and might just wait for over year to see how the prices bounce back. But in the broad sense I dont thin they need to care much about the prices as the projects do take years to complete and thus meanwhile they can take the opportunity of spiked prices too.

So many big bad news coming last 3 months, but i think it's the right time to buy some ICO's token since the price is based on ETH or BTC that mean the price is cheaper

Not only etherium, all price fell sharply happen to all the asset nor except bitcoin too.
So if they only sell ether then why this is affecting to all the cryptocurrency in general? In my opinion, because of the current market down, many people decide to stop investing for some time.

This link will help you a lot.
https://sanbase-low.santiment.net/
Santiment base already provided a chart that will be showing how the total ethereum that still hold by the majority of ico project and how much ether already spent by them all in some periods.
Due to the tax regulation to the cryptocurrency, but i only known about the project that already sold almost all of ethereum form the crowdsale is only EOS,

I think so, many projects sold the funds collected, but I think that the main reason is that people sold their assets cheaper than they got them, it's all the game exchanges and big players
