No "reply" button in threads? I can't reply...why is this?

I would like to reply to a thread, but I don't see a "reply" button on the page anywhere...
Why is this?

Because newbies can only reply in the Newbies section of the forum.
Read the sticky on how to to gain access to the rest of th board.

New members are confined to the newbie area until they have a certain number of posts and time on the site. I think it is something like 5 posts and a certain number of hours logged in, can't remember exactly though.

All you need is one post in newbie area and wait 4 hours

No.  Look at the top, where it says:
"Total time logged in:"  That's the time you've been logged in, once it hits 4 hours, your restrictions should be lifted.

I've been a member here since April of this year, but I haven't made any posts yet, so this explains my "restricted" status...

After you've spent some time logged in and posting here you'll be allowed to post in other areas of the forum.
