Well maybe one the astronauts could bring a flag along to the ISS. Might not even have to pay NASA, just be a publicity stunt eh?

I like "sending bitcoin to/from the ISS" better than a flag in that case.

You could send a bitcoin into space like these lego men? Cost £250!

This one is pretty good too - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newsvideo/weirdnewsvideo/9039936/Lego-man-sent-to-space.html

I wouldn't want any living or non-living thing put in orbit at this point except a space debris collector. So much shit in orbit that needs to be recycled or burned up. See: IMAX Space Junk or the anime Planetes.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Ultimate Bitcoin-powered hotspot. I'd pay to be able to work on getting a decent satellite ISP accepting BTC going. The draw to Bitcoin would be insane, and the satellite(s) could hold copies of the blockchain for relatively quick distribution. Too bad there's no cheap/easy way to make it immediately accessible to everyone like a WiFi hotspot. How cool would it be if you could just plug a USB dongle in and access 4+ different satellite hotspots?
