Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Both coins are good for investment.  But I would probably chose eth.  I think the price for this coin will grow faster than on btc.

Both of these offer different advantages:

Bitcoin is the safest cryptocurrency and has reached the widest audience.
Not to mention holding a third of the entire market's value.

Ethereum is right there with it, holding second place on the ranks.
DApps, DAOs, and Smart Contracts changed the game.

So where do you bet your chips?

BTC or ETH?

In the best case, you have to have bitcoin and Ethereum in your cryptoperthite. But if you choose between them, I'll choose bitcoin.

In terms of value, Bitcoin is much larger than Ethereum, but in terms of Ethereum's potential is quite capable of handling Bitcoin. And they are both interesting. And Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two most popular electronic currencies today

To overtake bitcoin, the ether only needs to double its cost. About a year ago, the price of ETH fluctuated at around $ 100, and now it is in the $ 800 range, that is, the growth of the value of the crypto currency was 800%. It is likely that this positive trend will continue this year.

I would definitely choose BTC because ETH is good too, it's still the same though in Bitcoin you will have higher profit because bitcoin have a high rate so in accord you'll get a good profit. You can do both, at the end of the day it will still be based to your decision. ETH is just starting and becoming second and it has a good rate also if you want a budget bitcoin. So all in all, I'll pick Bitcoin because I can fully invest into it.

Its a dilemma for a long time now and lots of people are still confused to make a decision between the two giants. ETH is definitely staying for a longer term as we can see that many successful tokens are built on ethereum platform. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has an enormous community to support. Smiley Smiley

IMO, I still prefer Bitcoin over ETH because ETH exchange rate has much higher volatility than BTC. If the investment is determined in the long term, investment in BTC will be more potential and earn more money than investing in ETH. Because BTC is the oldest crypto on the market and the crypto has the highest exchange rate.

Ethereum team is working constantly in its improvement, and as prove of this, they are changing now the consensus protocol from pow to pos. What I mean is Ethereum has a constantly team working in the areas. Unlike Bitcoin, unfortunately is taking only for speculation and trading, though Satoshi created this one for electronics payments, we all now is not so, it is using more to make trading or to hold but less for the main purpose. Smiley
I am more confident about Bitcoin. as we know that Bitcoin is a very reliable and valuable coin on the Cryptocurrency market. so to have it will be its own pride. besides with Bitcoin growing, Ethereum could be left behind. because sometimes the development of Ethereum is slow. so I prefer Bitcoin.

I have invested in both coins, but Bitcoin is far better in my opinion. It is a lot more popular and have a lot better resistant to the fake news that comes from everywhere lately.

I will bet for ETH for sure, ETH is a very good choice for a long-term investment, so i will choose ETH for sure, i really think ETH can reach $2k soon, it will really happen about in 2019 or 2020, BTC will still maintain its position at this rate, but ETH will catch up BTC soon

In my e-money investments, BTC and ETH are always the first two options. Because these two currencies make me believe in the platform, technology, community and value. Electronic price depends on the value of BTC and ETH. Both BTC and ETH are two of the most stable currencies in the digital money market. When BTC and ETH increase or decrease directly affect the Altcoin market. So for me there are two options: 40% for BTC, 40% for ETH and 20% for Altcoin or ICO.

I still like ETH more than BTC because after doing many transactions with ETH and BTC, ETH shows the superiority of transaction speed as well as meager transaction fees. Besides, the transaction fee of BTC is very high. Ethererum is considered to be Bitcoin 2.0, overcoming all of Bitcoin's disadvantages.

Bitcoin aims to be a medium of wealth storage, digital gold, and ultimately a globally adopted currency that can repair or replace conventional money to some extent. Ethereum's goal is to be a platform that smart contracts and decentralized applications can use.

Another important difference is the amount. The amount of Bitcoin is limited to 21 million, but the number of Ethereum is not limited to a certain amount. Bitcoin and Ethereum are produced in a process called mining. There are plans to divert Ethereum production into a proof of stake model, which should be more environmentally friendly than mining.

if seen from the above differences, I would prefer ethereum
