How is the crypto industry going to look like in 5–10 years?

I don't think we need to focus our attention on how will the industry be in 5 to 10 years time, we should focus on the present rather than worrying about the future, soon or later the future will come and we will all adapts to its changes.

We cannot directly predict what a crypto will be in the next 5-10 years from now, but in my opinion, it has the capability to be the universal currency that will be used by world where economy and government will unite as one. This will be a benefit for everyone in the world. But on the other hand, if people stop supporting Cryptos and its beauty, it will eventually vanish time after time.

Of course you want to cryptocurrency only grew over the years. And after 5 years, we saw a different situation. Stability, growth and perspective. So, you just need to believe that it will be so.

I am quite optimistic about the idea of cryptocurrency being a big thing 5 to 10 years from now. Big names/companies and banks have started accepting crypto into their system and even more are about to consider crypto. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if cryptocurrencies would be the basis of wealth by that time. Who knows...

It is difficult to say what will happen in time, the market is very unstable and it is unknown what will happen tomorrow and especially the day after tomorrow, but I think the market will grow and develop very much !

My guess is the Crypto Market Cap is going to be sitting at or close to 3 trillion. Currently only around 1% if not less has invested in Crypto at some point. The current market cap at all time highs did not break 1 trillion but Almost. If another 4% of the world moved to crypto we should be at or close to 5 Trillion dollars. That may happen within the next 10 years. More and more people are adapting everyday. We will just have to wait and see.

I think it's pretty hard to imagine. Look at the top 20 coins, 5 years ago. I think you will be very surprised if you decide to do it.

What I see for crypto in the next 5-10years is a full scale adoption.  That's the only measure of growth and stability for this industry.  Even though BTC is already making waves and being used outside the cryptospace,  smaller platforms like pundix, tapcoin,  MFChain,  are bringing more use cases to the mainstream.  Tapcoin already let's you buy drinks and food with its coins and also make payments for hotels around the world.  With more use cases like this,  I think we should be fully adopted by mainstream in the coming years.

At first I tended to be very optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies in the long term, however we must be aware of the following: ten years ago, nobody ever imagined that something as advanced and sophisticated as bitcoin would come to emerge virtually from nothing, to become the technological revolution that it is today. In the same way, at this moment I think that no one can visualize what technology will be offering us to solve the problems that right now the blockchain can not solve, so I am convinced that in 2028 the technology will continue to surprise us with more advanced solutions than we have now.

It is impossible to predict, because the same 5-10 years ago, the success of the crypto currency seemed to be something futuristic and unrealizable, like Nike sneakers in Back to the future.

The blockchain technology is developing so fast  that I think many new coins will appear on the market
and many existing ones will disappear in five years period.
