Virtual Reality definitely has a lot of room to grow. It'll be exciting to see where it leads in the next decade or so! Maybe one day they will get it to the point where we can be fully immersed in whatever VR world we are playing!

Interesting. Like our own version of Oasis from Ready Player One? I think this is possible too. Have you heard of the Virternity Project? A colleague mentioned it one time. I think they’re exploring the possibility of humans living in a virtual world through full immersion. Fascinating if that could actually happen, right?

I feel good about the virtual reality, if it does not begin to completely replace real life with you. I think this is a very difficult question .. Virtual reality of course has a place to be in the modern world, but you need to restrict it to use

Shorter-term, VR is going to take over entertainment (art museums, movies, see opera or broadway shows from anywhere, virtual sex).

Long-term, and I am not exaggerating, life itself. You'll be able to work and live in VR. The tech has quite a ways to go though. Haptic suits, treadmills, better headsets and other means of access are being developed. The potential for a digitized society is huge and it seems like that's where we're headed.

I do. Virtual reality to me is more than just about gaming. It has many uses now. It is widely used in real estate, medicine, training and soon, it might even be possible to use as a means to escape in the virtual world a la Ready Player One. One company that aims to achieve this is the Virternity Project. Their main focus is to change the economy, the society and upgrade our digital personalities. You should check it out if you are a fan of VR.

I prefer real life. Sometimes I can sit on the Internet, but living in a virtual world all the time is unnatural for humans. I think we should be closer to nature.

I haven't tried virtual reality but I would really love to try it.
There is a rhythm game with swords that I really want to try but I don't know what is it called.

Yeah, I like it. Have you seen the movie Ready Player One? I really liked that movie for it shows the possibilities for VR! Also, I love Oculus!

In my opinion, the VR theme itself is interesting, but virtual meaningless without content. For developers, making content for a device that no one uses because there is no content is also meaningless.

I only got to play like 3-4 times but it was awesome. I feel like it will be really popular in the next few years since its getting cheaper and there will be some decent games to play it with.

Hell yea. I was only able to use VR-headset once, but it was a greate experience. If the prices will go down as they do now, I will probably consider buying a set for home.

It is cool for a few minutes, but it makes me sick.
And it is still way to expensive for most of the people.

I know a lot of people who have bought a ps vr, rift or vive and never use it again.

Virtual reality brings true feelings to us. But if you think that virtual reality glasses are just for gaming and entertainment then you are probably wrong. Many other interesting applications are being explored thanks to this new technology.

I like the virtual world very much, because when I am under too much pressure, the virtual world will become my way to reduce stress, and it may bring me a lot of happiness!

I do! I love using virtual reality to exercise and have fun. And you're right. It has a big potential, not just as gaming headgear, but also to revolutionize the society and professional industry. For example, right now VR is being used in the medical industry, as well as real estate and architecture, construction and more. Someday, we might even use it to escape and live in a virtual world like that movie Ready Player One or The Matrix.
