I experienced the future of VR at Dreamscape in LA. This company is partnering with AMC Theaters, which will be rolling out 10 minute (and perhaps longer) VR experiences at theaters across the US in the 2020s, and probably the world.
You strap on an enclosing helmet, as well as attachments to your wrists and feet to capture your movements. It’s a 360 degree experience, with zero latency, that’s fully responsive to your actions. You can experience falling, roller coaster effects, living animals engaging with you, and more. We experienced their Alien Zoo and Pearl Quest (think: Indiana Jones). In both, we were given a cylindrical plastic “device” to hold.
In one of the two, the device turned into a torch, with full torch-like attributes except for heat. In the other, it turned into a flashlight, which illuminated wherever it was pointed in a totally believable manner.
Dreamscape still lacks taste and smell. Those are still in the laboratory.
For $20, it’s definitely a bucket list experience.
The possibilities, which will surely be realised by the 2030s, are staggering. These include:
Education Experiences with multiple threads of action depending on user choices Longer immersions All manner of fantastic worlds people dream about, brought to life. (Expect Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, and many more!) Many more I’m not thinking of right now.
Awesome Experience.

Yes! Especially if it is a horror game. that's a little crazy. I can't imagine if someone who has heart disease plays a virtual horror game.

Virtual reality really immerses you in a computer-generated world, augmented reality includes images generated by computers in the real world. this combination in the real and imaginary world proved to be very powerful

I've seen and played a lot of virtual reality since 2016. I love how game developers use the virtual reality technology to integrate it on so many games. Virtual reality has still a big potential, there are plenty of room for improvement. GLODCOIN | ▐ ▌ ▐ ▌ ▐ ▌ | | | | ▐ ▌ ▐ ▌ ▐ ▌ | | | | | | | | ▐ ▌ ▐ ▌ ▐ ▌ | | |
Everyone love playing VR related games since VR gaming is way way better realistic and more fun to play with compared to traditional ones

There are many different types of virtual reality systems but they all share the same characteristics such as the ability to allow the person to view three-dimensional images. These images appear life-sized to the person. This ensures that the virtual environment is both realistic and enjoyable.

VR is a big trend right now and I also think VR games are very entertaining. VR will be a popular feature for most games soon.

A lot are betting that VR (virtual reality) indeed would be the next big trend indeed. I do like it, although I haven't tried it yet but hopefully the technology would make it much more affordable for the rest of us to dive into VR very soon. But others are also betting towards AR (augmented reality) to be VR's closest competitor in this technological trend towards the digital reality space and this might be the next step or trend aside from VR, since it's based on seeing the real world (rather than a virtual world) albeit in augmented assisted form instead.

To be honest, it seems to me that the virtual one will not really appear in the form in which we present it. Since our capacities are still small, and so far this is not relevant in the near future.

I'm curious to know and ask if you're maybe referring to AR (Augmented Reality) perhaps or something else altogether instead? Please check my post before your post above, as reference.

I read people like watching movies in VR, so I'm excited to try it! I used to play a few games in VR and that was solo realistic! I felt like everything is happening for real and the characters are really surrounding me. However, I advise sitting while playing or you may crash into something

I love it. It reminds me of when i first discovered virtual online games (aka club penguin). You get to be in a completely different world. It's awesome. It can take a dark turn too, tho, if not used accordingly, cue black mirror

I sincerely hate Virtual Reality glasses because they give me a huge headache!
Be careful in using virtual reality glasses, for some people it is not easy to get used to... I have a friend like you who will always get dizzy when using virtual reality glasses, I am confused about why he is like that, maybe he should go to the hospital to find out what causes it to happen.

No.... I don't like virtual reality, nothing beats reality....
I guess some people love VR since it's a way for people to escape from reality, but hey, I love your spirit, loving reality as it is

Virtual reality is really great, and I really hope, that there gonna past not so many years until humankind will make it possible to interact with it via websites... and as well, I just hope that ecommerce website development cost wouldn't rise up enormously, and so everybody could afford themselves to order one (with it's own VR environments, etc.) Agree, ecommerce site development cost it will only fall over time. Many trends indicate this. Moreover, one of the prerequisites for VR to enter the mass market is to reduce its price for the mass user. Or raising the level of income. The first option looks more realistic.
