Yes, actually, this is one of the prime reasons that the price of Bitcoin is falling. But you cannot convince any investor to hold on as it is their way of managing their investments. It’s their own choice or rather I would say “stupidity”. But panic selling is quite expected whenever there is negative news coming out regarding a cryptocurrency. But what sensible investors can do is, not join them and wait for huge profits.

Yes. Panic selling has a large contribution to bitcoin price fall. First of all, since there are many newbies (consider users from 5000 dollar mark are still newbies), they have not built a strong trust in cryptocurrency yet. Since they did not experienced having bitcoin at a very low price. Panic selling causes another series of panic selling making bitcoin price very low. Convincing them, I think that is nearly impossible. They can learn this on their own by making them lose money because of selling without thinking.

Panic situation of any one who hold to coin and selling it because of that, will surely put additional fall on the price of the coin.

That's a very basic concept since the start of panic selling one's crypto holdings. Once you sell it off bitcoin's downturn, you are just contributing to its decrease of market price because the more panic selling is happening, the more bitcoin's market price goes down since the demand of people to cryptos are getting low too.

yes, it is true that panic selling is one of the things that cause bitcoin price reduction. does not have the power that bitcoin currently has that causes continuous decline in bitcoin prices. In the long term panic selling can be beneficial to the future of Bitcoin. If inexperienced and non-serious users dump their coins in the form of panic selling, then that can mean that more coins will be held by the serious and experienced users.

Of course it will. If you sell, the supply of bitcoin available in the market goes up. It means the demand is down so the price goes down along with it. It all boils down to the law of supply and demand. So if more people sell out of panic, the more bitcoin price will go down. Thats why we keep saying hodl and dont sell when fud are scattered all over.

Panic selling is the main reason for the price going down,while there is some negative mews about cryotocurrency keep spreading.There is no way to convince them because thay are scared and afraid of losing their money all we can do is kets say abiut the hold the long term holders will defenitely get profits.

Absolutely, if majority engaged at panic selling then bitcoin and altcoins value price will decrease due to supply at the market is higher. Those who sell their cryptocoins at lower price (lower than it's capital) are those people who are lack of guts and trust of thier invested cryptocoin. Yes, sometimes the panic sell is the cause for price drops while on the other hand it could be reverse case too. I mean when people see the natural drops in the prices then also they will make negative buzz about it and will start selloff  out of the fear and thus creating the drama of panic sells. Yes it is, just try to observe in a trading platform what happens when Sellers out number the Buyers, price will continue to drop. I experienced this with NXT and IGNIS when they have an airdrop. After the snapshot of Bittrex for NXT, everyone started selling and price of NXT dropped 50%. same with IGNIS, after IGNIS market was opened in Bittrex, price started to dropped as holders who received the airdrop started to cash-in. This applies also Bitcoin, just look at what happened when the news broke out about China ban on Bitcoins, price also dropped because a lot of Bitcoin holder sold their BTC as price dropped tremendously.

We need to educate them by giving them examples and true to life scenarios so that they will know that what they are doing is not helping the community. Unless they really want out then we can't do anything about it.
