If bitcoin wouldn't recover then bitcoin will cease to exist soon and will be taken out from any exchanger later. The existence of cryptocurrency depend on continued demand by its investors. On the possible growth of bitcoin this year, bitcoin have already reached  over $10k and slide down again. It is possible that bitcoin may not be able to surpassed its growth last year and it might stay below the $20k level.

Oh yeah why not. I think the answer to your question is already answered. I'm saying this because those who'll leave crypto have left for good (when everything was thought to be over in the beginning of this year). We don't see them around anymore. But even with the most difficult market situations I'm still here, them I can say that I'm not leaving crypto.
Thats right we have found the answer, you can see the current difficult market situations though, many users still survive and hold their coins because they always have hope that market conditions will change, and if hope is still there then crypto price will definitely recover Smiley
but I do not think they all leave. but waiting for the right time to enter. and I think they (the big holders) have the same connection so they can go in and out simultaneously and that's what affects the price up and down as they wish
Yes of course, I will stay even if btc price will go below 6K because I know it will rise up again. As long as btc has value, many investors still want to buy btc and hold. Also, small investors have the opportunity to buy at cheaper price if it will dip more below 6K level.

At least I must return the capital I spend. And of course I will remain in the world of cryptocurrency by trading altcoin using bitcoin to recover from the losses I experienced

Hi,

Just wondering if you guys will stay in crypto (aka hold or sell your BTC holdings) if the price does not recover.

Lets say we are still around 6k-7k by December 2018 => Will you wait it out or give up and say "OK, we had a nice ride but we are not going up again"?

What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)

It is not possible if bitcoin can not rise again, bitcoin increment is only a matter of time. I still believe bitcoin can still increase, and I will stick in bitcoin.

I think the price 6k-7k price is a big amount so I think if even we not recover to that price and that price will stable I think its fine. But we cannot focus on that price because people will still invest and buy bitcoin so bitcoin will rise again.

Well if bitcoin doesn't recover for sure some of the digital currencies up for today are still in the lowest peak price of it because some of the are just basing on what bitcoin price is and also many investors are relying on what bitcoin price is so they can afford to buy some crypto but even if the price doesn't recover I will be staying at it.

You are mistaken you are thinking about bitcoin just as a way to make money by trading but bitcoin is a lot more than that, bitcoin is a way to transfer value from one side of the world to the other and back without the need to have that transference being authorized by anyone, so while it is obvious I would like for the price of bitcoin to recover that does not mean that bitcoin will cease to exist.

Although it is unlikely to happen, in my case I will still hold my bitcoin and despite the steady market that it would fall into, I will be looking for altcoins that is still increasing despite the negative effects of bitcoin to the market.

Also, it is a good point of entry to add more to your investment so better if we save up some money and buy little by little.

Instead of getting dishearten by the current situation of the market, I am searching for the ways this market can work best for me and I ended up with a solution of buying more and more of bitcoin and leading altcoins in order to be on the safe side by the end of the year when market will be booming at peak. That would be perfect time for celebrations than buying coins. Many will regret then investing not at the moment.

Tell me why i would have to leave the market if bitcoin does not get back to twenty thousand dollars just like it was before? Came on mate, the price is subjective, the most important thing are the features.

My business is in bitcoin and I am here to work for the crypto community in any time. I am from 2016 and I have worked in all the time and I saw many prices of bitcoin and I do not worry for the price of bitcoin.

If talked about the price of bitcoin then it will be fool to think that the price of bitcoin will not recover because people of the world want to earn some money for their living and that opportunities are many more in crypto and if they will hear about this then they will come to join the community and then with their contribution the demand of bitcoin will increase which will increase the value of bitcoin. So we have to keep it in mind that the price of bitcoin will definitely increase.

I have decided to hold my coins for many years so even if the price of bitcoin did not moved up by that time I would not mind, that will be an indicator that a big movement will happen eventually and that you do not want to miss it and the only way to get all of those potential long term profits is to keep holding your coins, this happened already and it is possible it will happen again.

More of us would like to stay if bitcoin wont recover or go back to $20k. Yes so many investors users are relying on bitcoin and using the features that can benefit the users. So I am still staying in crypto no matter what.

As long as bitcoin's still in circulation and is used by people/investors/speculators for trade and investment. Of course I will stay in crypto even though the price is not recovering.

What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)

I will continue to hold, because I'm very confident the cryptocurrency value will not fall in depth forever cryptocurrency value will grow stronger than the previous price.

Of course I will, simply because I have a strong faith in btc and there's no such thing that btc won't recover and just stock up in it's price. If it's falling it's either you'll buy more and hold it a little longer, just like that. It's widely used so there is no what if for me

Theres a lot of good altcoin in the market with a real product and developer so dont worry if bitcoin will continue to falling down because a new altcoin will born and surpass bitcoin potential just my opinion and what I notice in the market.
