10k is more than enough to invest in cryptocurrency, invest it wisely dont go all in in altcoins or btc try to find some ico's, there are some good ico going on take a look.

I would prefer you to buy and choose potential coins as an investment because it will surely help you to multiply your money. These are the coins such as Bitcoin, Etherium, Neo, and Ripple. Based on my observation, those coins are potential coins and if you are wise you won't have any regrets in the end.

First of all, I would not recommend spending such a sufficient sum of money if you are a newbie. Leave something for your living. However, if you are still going to invest dollars in crypto, choose Ethereum and NEO (in my opinion, they are great). |

Right now EThereum prices are still quite low, fluctuating in about $ 670, this is a good opportunity for us to invest in Ethereum. Etheruem is the best altcoin market, it has great technology, it's very popular and a lot of ICO uses Ethereum as its platform. I believe that in the next few years Ethereum will grow strongly and cost over $ 2,000. However, I advise you not to invest all your money in Ethereum because the risk is high, instead you should buy a few other altcoin like Monero or NEO. |

If you have those amounts, IMHO, you may not only put the whole amount only on one coin. You may analyze to invest in Ethereum (trust that this altcoin is promising for the future) and some for the other altcoins with the lower price such as the Ripple, EOS, IOTA, and others. Just do research on them.

Your list is good as any other list, I think with so many cryptocurrencies around everyone can choose what is the best investment for them. Second rule is don`t invest if you can`t wait long enough for your investment to be profitable. If this guy say he have 10,000$ probably he already think about first and second rule. Maybe he is a newbie, but he should know some basics before bitcointalk. Only thing I agree with you is about investing in eth and neo, both are great platforms and buying them now in this dip is great decision for everyone. |

I would deversify portfolio and buy for 60% of the sum BTC and ETC (25 and 35%), for other 40% I would buy different alts like VeChain, ICON or something else.

Ethereum and eos, and maybe litecoin and bitcoin, but that is subjetive. I think that diversifying that money in more than 3 coins is almost useless, he is not gonna be able to earn a lot of money if that coin makes a 5%. |

Everything you see on coin marketcap is a good buy. You don't need to force yourself to buy a single coin. All you need to do is research deeper, but I have my own holdings, Vechain,Ada,Iota,Etc,Eth,Utrust and Dent.

you can share your money to buy bitcoin and some altcoin. if may I suggest. 25% money you make buy bitcoin. 25% again create buy ethereum. the remaining 25% again create buy the coin of your choice own, and 25% again leave in the form of money. create keep in case when the price down, so that you do not losing all your money.

I think buying ethereum is good decision when you see that ethereum or bitcoin it's your chance to buy in affordable price so when the price goes up you get a profit. Don't doubt to your decision because sometimes doubting brings you regrets after. |

We can not buy everything in here, most people need to choose a few coins from a huge list, that is why there are a lot of people in here suggesting coins to this guy.
But yes, eth and btc are always gonna be the best option.

Buying ethereum for investment is a wise choice, but it is only 50% of the money you have. The rest you can use it to buy or invest 25% Bitcoin and 25% more for other altcoin. |
