As CasinoBitco.in continues to improve it's product and gain marketshare it will almost certainly attract venture capital money or an outright buyer. In either scenario, virtual exchange shareholders are, flat out, nothing but a nusance. No one knows what to do with them. You either have to negotiate a buyout (ie satoshidice), legitimize them somehow (ie VirtEx), or just screw them over (so sue me...).
---First, while it's rare for a young company like ours to be profitable so soon (< 6 months), we have not been approached by any VC's, and quite candidly we feel our product is only 30% done - so we don't see a buyout likely in the immediate future. Now, to entertain the question - in the case of a buyout or outside investment, we'll have to decide the best course of actions based on the exact scenario. Most likely, units in Havelock would, if possible, continue to be managed by us, or the new owner, or unit holders would receive a buyout denominated in BTC. Much of this will depend on the type of organization we're dealing with, but will work hard to recognize the rights and expectations of our investors in this scenario.
I want to know how you plan to market CasinoBitco.in and taking market share?
---Our plan from the start has been to market to both the bitcoin gambling community, and traditional sports and casino portals ultimately converting new players to bitcoin. However, it's not worth aggressive marketing without the most polished, easily-accessible product - so we are focusing on completing a few development efforts before investing in this area. However, we continue to see growth in our daily activity. Ultimately market share in the bitcoin market will naturally grow organically based on the quality of the product offering. We have many improvements actively in the works, which will help continue to propel CasinoBitco.in up the ranks - and our reputation within the market continues to be solid.
What is the major benefit of CasinoBitco.in over most gambling sites that exist today?
---Today - Unique, provably fair games, not found anywhere else - combined with completely unique sports betting lines, with reliable limits and availability (we don't use Pinnacle like the vast majority of our peers). We're also take pride in our excellent customer service & zero payout issues or complains to this point.
In the future, we'll have among the most provably fair casino games, largest progressive payouts, most dynamic sportsbook and exotic sports/event betting options, a strong P2P-based game community (many ideas are in the works to build upon our Survivor and Squares Pools). We will seek to be the most legitimate representative and gaming advocate for the bitcoin community.
Are there any updates on these negotiations? I was under the impression that you had to move quickly.
---Yes! We conditionally agreed to the terms with this partner and are waiting on a comprehensive code review before we sign the papers, pay the seller, and make it public. We are moving as quickly as possible but considering the importance of these decisions, as all must understand, we need to do our due-diligence and keep the partner as confidential as possible.
