The May Report has been posted on Havelock Investments: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reportdownload.php?id=97

To steal from the document - Today we posted our May 2014 results - marking a full year of operations! We’re proud to reach this milestone, and thank our investors and Havelock Investments for the important part they’ve played in our expansion and on-going development.

As you know we suffered some negative variance early in the month on both the Sportsbook and PeerBet side. Fortunately results began to normalize again towards the second half of the month, making up some of the lost ground, but not enough to be in the black for the month - so there is no dividend to report in May

While this is an unfortunate part of the business we hope to avoid in the future - we feel we’ve taken the appropriate action to avoid these types of results in the future by our latest strategic change regarding our sportsbook which has been the main culprit that hampers our overall positive Casino revenue.  The results of going to a third-party sportsbook provider are twofold - good for the operation, by drastically limiting our risk while still leaving significant upside (we’ve joined a form of a “liquidity pool” for lines, which will be dynamic based on the projections and current bet volume of our third-party), and also good for our players, as this will enable us to offer “smart limits” with player profiling, ultimately resulting in far more betting options and house vigor.

Im a bit dismayed by this month's performance. While yes its usual for bad months, the sportsbook has repeatedly lost large sums. Infact, according to the spreadsheet has lost CBTC nearly $16,000. I would highly suggest looking into selling off the sportsbook section or closing it down. While I understand its important to offer a "complete package" to gamblers, the cost its coming at doesn't justify it. I will be holding my shares, but not adding any additional shares to my portfolio until the sportsbook is sorted out one way or another.

Keep up the hard work!

Did you not read the report? It was mentioned numerous times that as of June the sportsbook is now being handled by a third party and covering all risk, while only taking 25% profit. That is a far cry from how we are doing now. Not sure how you missed that part...

Mr_e is correct - as our sportsbook is now technically with a 3rd party - we're not assuming any of that risk anymore (or rather we have very limited as some sports like UFC for example we will continue to support in our legacy platform). But overall 90%+ of our sportsbook volume will be with a 3rd party, and that's been the case as of a few days ago.

I don't actually bet on sports - so I am just wondering... Previously we were known for having some of the best odds available, is this still true? How have our odds, vigs and anything else we offer to the customer changed due to this switchover?

I did read the report. They were still losing BTC after the switch if I am not mistaken. Im not bashing them, the gambling sector is expected to have losses. Im just saying as an investor, that watching a unit of this business lose consistently is a bit unnerving. Im glad its being outsourced to a 3rd party. Hopefully next months report is brighter.

It says the switch is to take effect as of June(this month), while the report was for last month.

CasinoBitco.in - Can you confirm that this means that we should no longer see any negatives under sportsbook from now on?

We trialed traffic in May - which did saves us roughly 9 BTC in losses in the sportsbook.

As of May 30th - we are 100% on the 3rd party for the following sports
1- MLB
2- NBA
3- Soccer (all leagues + world cup)

We are currently working on getting Tennis over to the 3rd party.

The sports we are still accepting all the risk / reward for that are live right now are below
1-  NHL
2 - MMA
3 - Boxing

Right now we do fairly well on MMA and Boxing, so we aren't in a rush to move that action... before next NHL season we will move that sport over as well.

It's good to hear you are taking steps to improve the sportsbook, moving it to the third party should give you time to focus on other improvements without worrying about loses in the sportsbook. Also CasinoBitco is actively communicating with it's customers / supporters which is a great sign. Keep up the good work...  Cheesy

Wow, what happens with the share? is very very low.

BTC price went up, so of course the price of the shares went down. Whats worrisome is its relative USD / BTC value also went down, used to be ~6 cents, now ~4 cents.

Edit: Further looking at it, its lost ~25% of its value within the past 3-4 hours. Some whales crashed the price, check out the orderbook.

Sigh. So tired of being punished for giving a company my money to build their company and holding forever only to find out I could have quadrupled my holdings for even less had I just waited.

Hello Investors!

We're looking for some help!

World Cup starts tomorrow - and it's a GREAT opportunity to gain some new users as Bitcoin Sports-betting is on the up-trend based on google trends! Now, there's plenty of debate and FUD coming from non-established books on our Odds, and we urge folks to not fall into the traps or scams that have been all too apparent in the Bitcoin Gambling world this past year!

Our message is as follows, and we hope investors share this sentiment in other forums and amongst friends (be sure to use our affiliate system to earn BTC based on referrals)

We offer very reasonable odds in all the major markets, comparable with our competition - and support very large max bets in MLB, World Cup, Tennis and NBA. We've been in operations for a year - and have never had issues with paying out our winners - we're also publicly traded on Havelock Investments.

World Cup: https://www.casinobitco.in/bet-worldcup-soccer

MLB: https://www.casinobitco.in/bet-sports-mlb

NBA: https://www.casinobitco.in/bet-sports-nba

We stress when you want to make a wager - look at the reliable, trusted, established books before falling for any traps out there.

Best of luck to everyone!

* Note - all action for the above 3 sports is leveraging our 3rd party odds provider - so no risk!
