This Might be tricky as we cannot know for certain how the market will receive the token, whether it will be readily adopted or not. but look into the development team and you might have a hint of what the token will be like in the long run, a good and experience development team will come up with the best projects as they know the needs of the market. the project should also be a good one, weak projects have no place in this market

What factors tell you if an Altcoin or new Token will grow in the LONG-term?

How do you know if a token will be worth money when speculation and high exchange volume trading is not pushing the price up? When people calm down on the crypto exchanges, what tokens/altcoins will survive? How do you know?

If the price is lower and the total supply is low thats one thing that I am looking for but some ICO that has a big supply burn it so most likely its one way to attract potential investors . Low supply High demand .

My eyes are set on some altcoins and one of the factors i look at is the roadmap. The content of the roadmap is very essential and i consider how serious the team is in respect of the roadmap. If the roadmap is duly followed, such coin has the tendency of long term. Such project must not be too conscious of price at the beginning of the project.

That´s a million dollar question for sure, but the token is normally as strong as the team. Also you will need to make sure that they have enough funding to complete the roadmap without problems.

No doubt the way to know if a token will be strong in the long-term is to look at the project they are building, if it is a project that will bring great value then it will be a long term project. ethereum is a good example., smart contract will be in great demand as the years goes on.
