$2000 is too much for the bitcoin to reach in the next couple of months, I wonder if bitcoin can reach $2k in the next couple of years as it is a high amount for a single bitcoin.
Those that have purchased bitcoin in the past would be very very happy and imagine the total market cap of bitcoin how much would it be ~850 Billion US Dollars which is more than 5 times higher than the total market cap of bitcoin now.

I am not too optimistic about the price of ETH this year. ETH probably costs less than 500$ when 2018 ends. So target 1000$ or 2000$ are not possible with ETH

Yes, the cryptocurrencies volatility is extremely high now, and it is not easy to foresee the price of any altcoin  (Bitcoin as well, sure). I just hold Ethereum as I do not want to sell it for cheap.
