It's funny there are many people that still listening to these fake news and affected by it then panically sold some of their coins. With today’s people’s freedom of expression, it’s hard to believe in every news right away. You have to do your own research first and know the reliable source of information. Without doing your research first, you can be led to making really bad decisions for your bitcoin. People have different motives we cannot tell right away for the fake news the spread.

The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another. A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.
For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?
It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.
So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it! 1. Summer 2017, China banned ICO. 2. September 2017, China banned crypto trading. 3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already) 4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!) 5. Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"... (Really?)
So what is next? "China really ban crypto"? "China really full ban crypto"? "China really really full ban crypto"[IMG] "China will jail anyone who trades crypto"[IMG] "China will execute anyone who trades crypto"? "China will nuke every country who trade crypto"[IMG]??
Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.
Yellow journalism at its best.
Same goes for Korean and Indian news. South Korea did not really ban crypto. Just one guy wanted to ban it. It was not approved, nor implemented. So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously. So what? Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?
India also did not ban crypto. Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto. No real "ban" whatsoever.
From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down. The sad thing is, people are falling for it. The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened. Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.
The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.
Fake news are one of the factors why there are many traders who are panicking. We really need to find a good source of information for us to get advantage. There are many people and sites that are spreading fake news, we should be really careful for us to get reliable information.

The media is famous for spreading bad news. They mostly write articles or blogs that are so bad that it attracts readers. The sad thing that the media is famous for influencing people's decisions. We get almost all the info from the media and some verify when others take the info when they hear it is very dangerous. This has affected bitcoin and crypto but we will still survive.

You are absolutely right. The news is in fact in most cases artificial and made in order to manage the market. Coarse players use this to earn
So it is, news always regulates the market! Therefore, once you start hearing any media information about the crypto currency, you can be sure that the market will soon re-enter into it!

All right, do not do this! Typically, such news is created specifically so that you sell your coins cheaply, and then bought more. That's why only 10% of traders earn on the market!

Listening to false news can lead to panic. If you sell, when there is lot FUD, you will hurt yourself. We should be strong, and avoid gossips from dubious sources. The best thing one can do is read news from reliable sources (like Reuters), keep calm and carry on.

Fake news and misinformation is a huge problem. I see that there are 2 reasons why this is happening, first every news channel likes to exaggerate things and twist the information in such manner to be aligned with the most popular opinion. Second people who have short or long positions are paying for the right news information for their investment.

Listening to false news has a negative outcome to anyone specially to those who are pertaining to. Media is one of the medium who who deliver news that we never knew if it is true or not.We are the one who are responsible if we were believed it. Because of the continues popularity of crypto there's a lot rumor that against of Bitcoin.Fake news will spread and we never knew whose to be blame but instead of listening to them just focused on the bright side of it and wait for the time that it will increase again.

This is so true, but we can't just let them change their mind in just a snap! Some people is still up to any news, good or bad that they didnt know its already affecting and destroying their beliefs. Well,we cant force them to be like as wise as us,mostly those person is new in the trading industry/Cryptoworld. Bad news is causing them a panic and have loss. We must encourage them more to be more smart on what news to buy and not only pick a news that is scattered.

It not about the listening to fake news but rather the inexperience people are is the cause of cryptocurrency crashes. They don't read patterns well and go in at wrong times and if any news pops on the process, they start the panic sell causing the market to crash.

Yeah, that is true. If you listen and believe to false news and fake news, you will become not aware to the truth. Seek for the truth than believing to a thing that you are not sure if this is true or not.

Listening or reading to false information from media will do us no good but it also correcting them is a right thing to do. Even I, is conflicted whether should I retort to every false claim about crypto or save the time from arguing with close minded people. Sometimes it is the best keep silent in those times and let you success show how crypto really works. But if opinions are getting out of hand, I think there is no wrong to reply back.

Only the mentally weak are easily affected and influenced by these inaccurate news. As if the saying "what I hear is what I perceive" has been coined in this system. Some are just too lazy to make their own research or investigation on the legitimacy of these news. Panicking so easily and creating a scene on the digital world is so contagious which is why FUD's are rampant. A lot of us really need to grow up...mentally and psychologically that is.

In fact we should stop all listening to the false news. The problem, however, is to establish what the false news is and what the true ones are. All the news is given as true and it is very difficult to distinguish.

That is the right thing to do, for me all people here in crypto should not listen to false news or to a fake news, because listening to false news can result a bad thing, my advice as a holder and as a believer of bitcoin, is always find a legit news and not on a fake news.

well it is hard to know whether the news is true or not, because we all know that there are alot of news and article here in social media and in the net. But please if you plan to share news to others either postive or negative check first if your source is reliable and they speak the truth.
We know everyday there is lot of news about in bitcoin its hard to know if its true or not but being a bitcoiner we must check and confirm the news before we share to them. If you share wrong news lots of people suffer from your mistakes, and brings panicking on them. If you are true bitcoiner you share a reliable news that brings hope for them.
