You can make people aware of your skills (major/minor) also the star ratings accredited to them. So skills can never go in waste with gigtricks

Skill rating can get work for and make you earn a living. For Example: a graphic designer can earn by designing website banners only because he has that skill along with its rating that is visible to all ecosystem participants.

Skill rating has a lot to offer and nothing it expects to be reciprocated
Hi Everybody. Just to correct your concepts, nope, freelancers/users cannot put rating by themselves to their skill, they must take a skill test and upon completion against the score they achieve a rating will be given to their skill that is verified under the Blockchain. Thank you

In order to compete with the giants in gig market, skill rating is one excellent feature.

I agree with individual skill rating not only freelancers but the clients interested to hire these freelancers will also benefit and save time of communication to negotiate terms

I can relate, for every project my clients spend too much time with me to get to know me better and making sure I can actually do the job and sometimes it starts to get on my nerves. I mean seriously guys, I have been freelancing for years now don't you believe me? Don't my past reviews and projects matter to you?

Chill ! there is nothing to do with your capabilities or incapabilities , the thing is on traditional existing freelancing platforms there is no way to know if a particular skill is legit or not and that create trust issues but since on gigtricks all skills will be verified under the blockchain , i believe clients will start to start freelancers more

I heard that freelancers can also put their expected rates (charges) against each skill?

Yes certainly they can and it is one more thing that makes their individual skill rating too attractive to be true its a shame that many times clients/freelancers face humiliation because of the rates

In a situation like that, the dispute in the ecosystem will be resolved using the community voting process.

Community voting process is possibly a balanced means to rest the disputes once and for all. But technically speaking, how does dispute resolving works? Appreciate if anyone here can explain that?

top performing users have a role to play here, as they may have a role to conclude or resolve a dispute which they can participate in by using their GigBit tokens

Well as the disputes commenced the voters are selected at the random and are sent requests to submit their votes in return for their GigBit tokens when resolution is passed users will be rewarded in gbtc
