R9 thru R12 has reached the minimum hashrate which was promised. We're still awaiting software improvements to chainminer, which we hope will help hashrate as well.

R9-R12 have been merged into one big mega pool and will all be paid out the same (as well as compensated for lost hashrate as we waited to get to our minimum hashrate.

Therefore: To reduce clutter on the GB forum and to simplify R9-12 discussions, please move your questions and discussions for these 4 rounds to this thread.

Thanks.

thank you.

i see it is at 3.35 th or so.    and I see we are at 14 plus btc.  now it is early in the morning in NJ.  I know we were not at half power from the first day up to now.  we were a better then half power on avg.  if we were half power we would be short 14 coins..  So I know the compensation is under 14 coins. I also know it is more then 5 coins since we average less then 75% power.

 if we average 50%   14 / .5 = 28 we are owed 14 coins.    if we averaged 75%   14 / .75 = 18.67 we are owed 4.67 coins.

So we are owed less then   14 coins and more then 4.67 coins.      I am sure some one can get the right number   in the next few days.

BTW  BTC is 342 usd at coin base

I will be compensating the GB's for a total of 7 BTC to be added to the payout pool, to be paid out the 15th.

Based on my number of lost coins and that the hashrate started at 33% and ramped up to ~80 till yesterday, I think 7 coins is fair. Please let me know what yall think of this, I am open to ideas. Now this is in addition to no hosting fees till Dec 15th. I cant thank yall for being patient with me, been a long trip.

The fact that we are getting ANY compensation is what makes this Co-Op best one out there

Thanks guys

For some reason my calculations show that at 3.33 thrash we should have mined 30 coins over 9 days at current difficulty. Except we actually were mining at 390 million difficulty for the first few days so it should have been closer to 33. I don't think BTC guild has been yielding that badly so we must have been under 50% hash rate on average. From what I can tell the compensation would bring us up from approximately 50% to about two thirds of calculated returns.  But there's no way all the equipment could have been up instantly on Nov 1 so if you drop the first day the numbers look better.

I ran the calculations another way and basically we lost about a day and a half vs mining full force from nov 1 with the compensation so I think it's nice and fair since the original promise was that it'd all ship by nov 1

Did we have really bad luck? For some reason my calculations show that at 3.33 thrash we should have mined 30 coins over 9 days at current difficulty. Exactly. We had I think ~2.5 days on the old diff, then the remainder on the new diff. Although technically speaking R11/12 didnt start till monday. 7 coins seemed a fair and even compensation, in addition to the free hosting.

Agree with your statements.  I think 7 is a very nice compensation. I remember when I joined all I expected was shipping by Nov 1.  I had hoped it would be up and hashing  quickly and it was. Thanks to the GB team for being honest, open and fair. All you guys put your own time in on these GBs and I appreciate that time.

Thank you!

Please send me a PM w/ the email you used as well as the payout address.

Who doesn't like stats?

Did you know there are 66 unique payout addresses in R9-12?

I think until I get the boards back from RMA, I will be keeping my personal 3 modal Jupiter hashing for the GB, should mean we get an extra 200-300ghash.
