Yeah Im getting some hashrate issues from one of the stacks... Has been going on and off for the last day. I spent a few hours this morning trying some fixes, and waiting to hear back about tweaking the software. Ive already set them to do a rolling reboot again.. so it will fluctuate the next few hours

Hmm, the hashrate is still reading at like 2.8Thash.  I guess BitFury boards really are hard to keep running reliably.  Did they give you a timeframe on the RMA'd boards?

They should be sending  ~35 replacement boards + fixed boards from the first 2 batches this week, so by friday. I will probably get it up to 3.5thash and leave at that for the remainder in order to make up for this week.

It looks like there was a half working Pi in one of the stacks, causing it to go nuts

Anyone else notice that with current BTC prices we basically ROI'd already? Smiley  Not sure they will stay this high but that's still great news.

I have been watching that!  As you said only good if you cash out at these 800 or higher prices, your currency comes back pretty quick. A person could get their currency investment back then hoard the rest Smiley..

It makes me itch a little too  Smiley.

If nobody converted their coins yet the Mootinator plugin shows we crossed into positive USD territory today.  Grin   Still have a ways to go on BTC though..

I reached the point that I just cash out at coinbase as soon as possible .   while it does not max out profit it safe-guards against a crash.

Between all of the btc worlds for me, I am in  the all profit world.  so conversion to cash is almost all I do now.  while I may not get rich this way I like the lower stress levels.

I agree with your philosophy of taking profit and guarding against risk. I had the oportunity to lock in a 30% profit on silver when it was up and I waited to long. So I am a silver stacker now :/ .

It is always easy to say buy and hold. Its hard to see a nice profit and just let it sit there. Profit is for the taking but then again I generally go against the grain of the BTC purist. After all, they should be happy when I sell, its more back out on the market for them to buy.  Smiley

I don't really endorse one way or the other, it's just less work calculating USD ROI based on holding the coins =)

It'd be kinda fun to integrate with the user accounts/payout spreadsheet so you can see a summary of your own shares using whichever method you prefer instead of the entire GB.

Hi mootinator.

I really appreciate your contribution to the DZGBs.  Its really awesome we have a way to track what the gear is doing.  I hope you did not take my comments the wrong way.  I would have done the same way you did. Its plenty good enough. We each are responsible for our own profit loss calculations.

On another note, If you were bored and had time, would you be interested in putting a graph mirroring the BTCguild graph on the plugin? I dont know if its even possible but it would be cool.

Thanks for your time man.

Best Regards,

Best Regards,

There is actually a hashrate graph implemented (it wouldn't be exactly like the BTC guild one), it would just have to be included in the page, I'm not sure how closely it would mirror the BTCGuild graph though.
