there's really no similar site yet unfortunately. lots of other types of wallets around (instawallet, etc) but not with the same functionality as mybitcoin.com |

seriously, if someone can point me to a better service than Mybitcoin, I will be there in a heart-beat. Not fun have 80+ BTC become completely inaccessible with no heads up.
I'm still believing its a maintenance thing like last time, but seriously.. not cool.

well actually, i just found out about http://walletbit.com ...I'm checking them out and will ask around to get some feedback from current users. |

Well you can't say I didn't warn you! You can expect people to come through here and accuse you of lying, asking for proof as if to imply you are making all this up (for some mysterious reason), or mocking you for being so careless (and that part would be true, ahem.) Can somebody besides me ask that flake Bruce Wagner to stop promoting Mybitcoin on his bitcoinme site? New people are getting hurt by this and bitcoin's reputation is getting hurt as well. Challenge any of these veteran people when they promote Mybitcoin in their literature or interviews. Boycott any business that uses mybitcoin as a wallet. Best of all: build a better site! |

Well, you didn't warn *me* because I never saw those posts, though I wish I had. yeah, I am new to this after investing in hardware to mine bitcoins I deposited my earnings into mybitcoin =( did'nt know either I read from somewhere that it was a good place to have my wallet... guess not. I mean I didnt lost alot but darn =( 5bitcoins so it hurts considering I just started! |

Even though I lost 25 BTC, I'm not really mad. I kind of blame myself for leaving that much on a public site. What I'm mad at, is that I can't use their SCI for selling game servers.  |
