I still use this exchange and this is still become one of the best exchange with high volume transaction, now their user also increasing and member who online at the same times reached more than 13k trader. This exchange only need times to increase quality of their customer support.

Not sure if they're from riches to rags, there's still a bit of volume there and they haven't locked my account. Forced me to reverify after classifying me as a legacy user but other than that, all looks well... If subdued.

They were really active as Bitcoin began its bull run last year. I was making decent profits from loans as the demand was huge. Double digit interest for just a few months mid last year. Probably another similar environment for Bitcoin would prompt another flurry of activity there.

Just goes to show nothing is forever, I guess. Support, or lack of, is what kills these giants.

Not yet , but it seems to have a lot of issues , may be that's why it's been sold to some other company , customers are important , and if they can't solve the issues of customers or answer too late to tickets , would lost them and become like this!
The main issue with poloniex has always been the withdrawal and deposit issues coupled with the problem where you will have to contact support without easily getting response or not even getting at all. All these makes using a platform easy to use and convenient for traders and as long as that is not in play, then there is a huge problem that needs to be tackled. As far as I am concerned, Poloniex has been dead to me for a very long time now since they could not keep up.

Polo is not dead, it was bought by circle that's really good. It is behind the binance why? because it requires identity verification for every users and poloniex does not list coins as much as binance lists.

I also wonder why polo is a market that is less desirable for crypto traders, mostly switching to bitrex and binance. actually I like the polo, because the system supports margin trading, lending, stop loss. it makes me collect faster coins, but seeing the volume decreases I divide the assets in some markets.

Actually the social media polo is very active but the number of messages against poor customer complaints makes traders fear their assets.
Hopefully this year the polo returns with a responsive customer service system.

I use about a year Poloniex, never had problems with I / O. It is convenient and clear to trade. Registration was held at their request without difficulty. The competition between the exchanges is very sharp, perhaps it is the source of negative news about Polo.

Poloniex is still active but many issues are occur in the transaction so automatically reputation is down in the exchanging site. But Binance is occupy the Poloniex consumer also so it will going to peak. I think this year Poloniex is troubleshooting the all issues next year it will success in exchanging platform.

Poloniex is still working, albeit it did and does have some issues. One of them being these days the multiplication or error 500. I still use it, partly because of the loan and borrow features that is working smoothly and that you do not find in that many exchanges.

In the summer of 2017, this exchange froze my account for unknown reasons and only a few months later I was able to get my money. After this incident, I stopped using this exchange, there is a more reliable.

It still good to use, it's just that binance and bittrex can do the job better with less risk, but if there are coins that only exist in poloniex then I'll be using it.

I used Polo a long time ago, probably about a year and a half at this point (that's a long time in the crypto world) For my recent trades, I've fully left Polo and have went into Binance. Though I haven't heard of anyone talking about Polo - the only time I do hear it though is people complaining about it. Is Polo dead? I know at one point it was controlling most of the market.

Talk about a fall from grace. From riches to rags as an exchange I guess

Poloniex is still working and in fact I still have investment on that trading platform. I suggest you also try Binance and Bittrex as they are one of the top platforms and of course the fees are still there as same as with other platforms.

Well! that might be because of the fact that almost all investors will want their tokens to be listed on Binance, I don't recall where I ever heard someone requesting for a listing on Poloniex. I think that has caused everything to be traded mostly on Binance. Myself I don't recall when I last used Poloniex, it's been a very long time. No one even talks about it nowadays

I have an account there, but I've never actually used it. I used it for loans, and bought a few alts, but no real trade or anything like that. Never had any problems with them, but I did hear a lot of complains so I decided to leave them. I don't think they are dead though, because if they were I don't think they would be bought by circle like they were. Of course that they were probably bought circle knew they could have a good price because they were having problems, but I'm sure that now that they've done it, they are not going to lose money with it, and will probably revamp it, so they should be fine.

What do you mean with them doing a better job with less risk? It's pretty safe to assume that Poloniex is probably the most regulated exchange thus far with their SEC approval, which even Coinbase can't say it has. Poloniex can legally list tokens without having to worry about breaking the rules, while most of the exchanges currently having tokens listed somewhat operate in a gray area. It doesn't seem to be the case that authorities are actively trying to enforce their laws, but that doesn't mean it will never happen. ICO tokens are considered to be securities, and that requires SEC approval, otherwise you are operating on non legal ground as exchange, and this applies to a lot current exchanges.

Did they give you any particular reason why they had frozen your account? I heard that it happened to many people so that's why I decided to stop using Poloniex and switch to Bittrex.
Poloniex was my first exchange on which I started trading altcoins. However, high fees, frozen accounts and small amount of available alts/tokens to buy forced me to use another exchange. Hasn't Poloniex been bought by someone recently?

They at first time looks so legit , withdraw smoothly there, verification feel fair etc. but recently there's a lot of unresolved issues like frozen account , withdrawal on hold for months etc.
Not sure if it was lack of management skills , they seems fishy to me. Poloniex are indeed one of biggest exchange around , but their awful service erase it all.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

Polo is still breathing as of now but as we can see trading volume do drop drastically and i would say they do deserve it because they dont make any actions regarding into their issues thats why traders do move out into other competitor which traffic and volume been transitioned into other exchange and now making up a buzz. Popularity is now over for poloniex because of such carelessness and dont minding out peoples concern just like the older days when it was still reigning.
