To minimize the risk factor you just need to do one thing. First study about the coins in which you are going to invest. Second never invest in single coin. Always make balanced portfolio. Yes, trading sometimes resembles a gamble. But I think that should be avoided. This should be taken as a kind of work. And you are right that negative emotions from trading are part of our work. We can not constantly make a profit. That is life.
