I don't like using linux.

You don't have to "use" it like in everyday use -- just install it, set it and forget it  Cool

I dont have any info about linux commands
I never installed any linux OS for now.
I think first i will have to install linux OS to My rig's hdd and install drivers and download this miner and make a .bat file ?

it is very easy right now with hiveOS
i can do it for you with a little donate

Does it work on a USB stick or we need to install it to miner rig HDD? A little guide would be good like me who have no idea for linux commands..

you just need a usb stick
install hiveos
run custom miner

ok thank you, i found a video guide for hiveOS i will follow that guide step by step.
I think i can do it.
There are 4 steps download, write disk image, connect to the rig and register.

hiveos setup with tdx was easy, hardest part was toi understand that there is already wallet ready to use - just switch wallet addres and it works like a charm. seting core/voltage was a little strugle, but somehow i am getting 2x less coins than expected. I am doing right now test on one rig
8x sapphire rx 570
core 1275
voltage 1000 1025 975 1000 975 1000 975 1000
total usage from wall 1150w
~3.1mhs per card, ~25mhs total
accepted shares from miner  99.67%
pool shows no rejected shares

0.3gin in 12h
calculators show like 0.7gin in 12h

I have a feeling that boosting voltage a little or lovering core could help.
it seems that ram does not affect mining hashrate. i have setup ram on 2000mhz

Feel free to set memory clock (Mhz): to 300 mhz (it's not important for lyra2z). You will save some watts and temp will be slightly lower.

In a vierd way hiveos does not allow me to do that - setting core lower just sends rig to reboot.

try this settings for start :

core clock : 1100 (start with 1100 and try to reach 1270)
core stat (index) : 3
core voltage : 930 (940 if you go over 1200 on core)
memory clock : 300

Good news i done it  Cheesy

Now what about OC settings for my Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ rig?

What should be those settings?

Core Clock (Mhz):
Core State (Index):
Core Voltage (mV):
Memory Clock (Mhz):
Mem State (Index):

Posting again because I guess no one else tried or reported back...

Has anyone tried this it is suppose to reduce power consumption. Didn’t know if any of you would have luck with it. I tired the first suggestion without luck and was going to see if the second suggestion maybe worked by the doctor aka tekcomm.

https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/ROCm/issues/463

I tried all this with no luck... Open CL still doesn't work... tried the v5 image, 16.04 ubuntu, and 18.04 ubuntu installed to a hard drive.

Why we need to decrease the mem. clock ?

Lyra2z isn't a memory-bound algorithm, so reducing memory you can save some power.

I tried some time ago without success. Yesterday received new files from developer. Can't test it now. You can try

For v5 if you install it here is the install of the opencl & drivers

becouse its small market and too mutch people promoted miner, like always.

now its worthless.

Its sad, now ETH earns more than 95% off shitcoins, it will be really bad when asics comes into market.
