Because people bought altcoin at a higher price, so now sold may lose money, and most of the people on these altcoin project, for me, I also like ADA, NEO, QTUM these intelligent contract project.

I agree on that, people are  having the fear of missing out on the profit which might result from an investment or a decision that make them regret. They are unsure of the potential of a situation that might end for them to be utterly ruin and be destroy with losses from the current downfall of a price.

Those who hold my altcoins think their altcoins have fallen too far from the time they invest, so they decide to hold to die rather than sell anymore. If they are holding altcoins, it means that they the developer or they believe that the project will materialize in a long run. Other holders are already learn from their past experiences. There are many altcoins before that are so cheap and they sell it early. Now those altcoins that they sell are already expensive, one of them are Ethereum, litecoin, Monero and other known altcoins.

People are holding altcoin well ofcourse they wait to increase the value of it before they sell it. investors need first to analyse the altcoin price before they sell it they make sure that they will earn profit. But some have no choice because they need to sell their altcoin no matter what is the value especially if they need it in emergency purpose.

the reason behind people are holding altcoin is that they are believing that price will raise up and earn from it . like me im holding coins from bounty and im believing that it will raise up in the long run but if i see that the coin has no potential i am selling it immediately .

I'm HODL only a few altcoys in which I'm 99% sure. Everything else merged into Bitcoin and ETH and I'm waiting for them to go on growth. At the time Bitcoin and ETH grow, it is very profitable to buy altcoyins.
