arent they on holiday like the rest of china ? id like to place an order but dont want it in february or something like that!

I read from a Bitman posting that January 25 is the last day for shipping before the Chinese New Year.  It also says on the product webpage for the Antminer:

"The shipping of the batch will be started on Jan 21."

"This is the last batch before the Chinese New Year."

Ya so this weeks shipments will be the last for 2 weeks which means the soonest we can expect a shipment after this is the week of the 5Feb14

so if we order today can we expect it before new year holidays begin? thats the biggy especialy with 10+ units! and could we get a refund if it wasnt.

I don't work for Bitmain so I don't know for sure.  So for the facts are as follows:
-Bitmain WILL be making their last shipments before the New Year this week
-Bitmain WILL be taking 2 weeks off after the last shipment

Take from that what you may.

If paid in full by the 20th Monday will the order be shipped out on this shipment?

Attention

Customers from Russia
This that i've got from my tracking info:
Additional Clearing Agency information or documentation is required for clearance. / UPS will contact the sender and/or receiver regarding the status or disposition of this package.
I've contacted UPS Russia, they told that there are a lot of parcel from this sender (BITMAIN) with the same problem custom clearance.
You can read this thread on forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=356008.0;all
Now I need to wait, when my unit returned at BITMAINTECH, and after that host it at their side.

So if you are from Russia please USE only HOSTING Service. BITMAINTECH suggests use UMISOO.
Now it is really so hard to contact UMISOO, because they answer really unstable. That's why I suggested to send my parcel to Russia.

BITMAIN, maybe you can help with contacting UMISOO, not only through e-mail, bitcointalk account PM's?

Import issues can be put to rest if the sender includes a commercial invoice which list the value of merchandise in USD and it's description. Description should have a code that all customs' can understand.

I am from the USA.  No issues with customs.  I ordered one on 1/11/2014 (Saturday) and received it via UPS Express Saver on 1/15/2014 (Wednesday).  from order to receiving took 4 days.  Just ordered another on 1/19/2014 and hoping to get it in a few days.  There was no invoice or any paperworks outside or inside the box.  Here is the UPS tracking #1ZR239350445141930 shipping log

This man speaks the truth.

I had a cube sent from the US to Australia and it was held up because the sender did not include an invoice. FedEx contacted me and asked for the invoice. As soon as I sent it to them the item was released. Too many people are claiming items are gifts with no monetary value in an attempt to scam their way out of paying import duties. If sender's include a legit invoice with their items things will be much simpler.

Importing into the US may be different but the Australian Government expect their customs duty and GST (if applicable) to be paid on imported goods.

I've not followed closely this manufacturer, but from what I've read they ship from stock, right?
You pay 1.9BTC for one 180GB/s machine and expect it to receive when?
Any reasons to be worried about delays with these guys?
What value do they declare? I read above that sometimes there is a problem with customs.

I am currently contemplating on buying a few as this is their final batch before the Chinese new year.

Hey maybe someone from Bitmain could answer this.

I forgot to use a coupon on my last order...is it too late for me to use it now?

-they usually ship from stock or the batch they just finished and are testing/packaging to ship in the following days. usually they ship about 2-5 days after opening orders on a batch
-you would receive it between this friday and next tuesday
-ive only had good experiences and even RMA'd a board that wasnt powering correctly.
-they usually declare a relatively low value, something around $500 if i recall. If you need to you can have them declare the full value at USD/BTC rate but duties may be higher

It is worth reminding people here that most homes/apartments often have 15A on the majority of circuits. This means you can only get 3 antminers (overclocked) on a single circuit, 4 if they are not overclocked and the circuit isnt shared with other large power draws (stereo, TV, fridge, toaster, etc).

I blew almost every breaker in my buddies apartment running 4 ants + anything else, and that was at stock clocks.
