ASIC Wannabe

It is worth reminding people here that most homes/apartments often have 15A on the majority of circuits. This means you can only get 3 antminers (overclocked) on a single circuit, 4 if they are not overclocked and the circuit isnt shared with other large power draws (stereo, TV, fridge, toaster, etc).

I blew almost every breaker in my buddies apartment running 4 ants + anything else, and that was at stock clocks.

exactly. I'm lucky enough that I have 2 circuits with outlets beside eachother and virtually no other load but ASICs (one circuit is for the A/C in summer and the other is a desklamp)

I'm trying to see if an electrician can rewire an unused 30A, 230V appliance socket to provide 2 seperate 115V lines for future grow until I arrange a permenant location with more power (see my sig - i need other miners or equipment investors to make it feasible)

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Isn't there a difference between 110v 15A and 230v 15A? :-)

I've not followed closely this manufacturer, but from what I've read they ship from stock, right?
You pay 1.9BTC for one 180GB/s machine and expect it to receive when?
Any reasons to be worried about delays with these guys?
What value do they declare? I read above that sometimes there is a problem with customs.
I am currently contemplating on buying a few as this is their final batch before the Chinese new year.
Hey Cyper!
Just do it....
I have 7 at home and 7 on way....
No Jups....
Ordered 3 last night.
I hope this turns out well.

You and me both, I ordered 2 last night too  Smiley

Nothing to do now but wait.....

Bitmain pay for shippment, you will need only to pay Customs taxes, and that depends in what country you are located.

Let me tell: with a knc jupiter you can sleep in the same room, even near the jupiter. No noise...the ants are 3 or 4 times louder.

If you have both can you make a video comparing the noise of both if that is not too much trouble. Thank you.

he already post that taxes are around 27  £, and with ups, they will call you, and let you know how much you have to pay for Customs, and you pay when the package arrives to your door.

Hm. I don't think it's that loud, and me and my SO sleep in a room with two of them. Though, — we've also been sleeping in a room with an Avalon, so maybe we've already gone deaf. Smiley

They're _much_ quieter than the original avalon at least.
