AFAIK this is the qualifying metric for coupons.  I purchased units at 4.25, 3.15, 3, and 1.9.  I have not received any coupons.

I think the coupons are given in cases where unexpected price changes occurred or other means of customer reward. IMO they dont have to give coupons, and I appreciate the times when they did

Ok and I purchased at 3, 2.65, and 1.9...only got a coupon for the 2.65 unit.

Can anyone confirm that a PSU-1000W with 4 seperate 6pin PCI-E connectors suits for 2 Ant-S1 miners?
Do they need the 4pin Molex for each miner?

Check what DC power there is on the 12V line and if it is only one or more.
Better post the exact PSU make and model.
But most probably it will be more than enough.

Without overclock the Ants use around 320W of power from the PSU.
I got 2 of them connected to Corsair AX860i and both use 695-700W from the wall.

With less efficient PSU (CX600M) = 370W from the wall.

No molex required. Just 2x PCI-E per miner and Ethernet.

IMO, they would have been better giving out no coupons at all than just handing them out to whoever they felt like. If they're going to give out coupons, doing so without announcing why is not good business. I wouldn't be posting here if they gave out no coupons.

Quite honestly, I think it's foolish to believe that any price change in these units was unexpected. Bitmain and company (whoever they may be, which is another issue I have) seem to have their act together when it comes to a lot of things, and I highly doubt that scaling price is something that escaped them.

The fact of the matter is that Bitmain gave out coupons one way, Sushi gave discount codes another way, some distributors didn't even offer them, and who is this guy from Korea?

The inconsistency in price and price policy between distributors of the same product really bothers me. Feels like preferential treatment to certain distributors and customers, which isn't good business.

It's not unusual when chanting prices to give coupons to customers who purchased right before the change, effectively grandfathering them into the new price so they don't feel cheated that they didn't order a couple days later... removes a buying reservation "I could buy— but maybe tomorrow the price will be lower!" and getting it in coupon form keeps the sales going.

Nothing about it seemed surprising or inexplicable to me.

I am in the same boat. Placed order on 25th 23:00 UK time (about 07:00 on 26th China time).
They said orders paid for before 26th 14:00 (China time) would be OK.
I think Bitmain said they have shipped all orders now but did not have time to update the tracking info before they closed for CNY.
So I am hoping my order is with UPS and will arrive later this week.
If not then we have to wait until they are back at work after the CNY ends.
That's how I read it.
Without tracking numbers it's hard to see what's happening.

ordered and paid on 23rd and not shipped yet, I guess you get it after holidays I received email that there is no shipping service to my place but we have all 3 offices here: ups , dhl and fedex, most likely his shipper dont know my place or cannot find it, I sent many emails with info about my place but no answer yet
