Why do you think they are in stock and dropping on price constantly?
None of the antminers I've received showed the slightest evidence of being used. The reason they are dropping prices is that they're selling these things near or beyond the boundary of profitability, and so as more hashrate increasing days go by they need to lower the price to keep it from being an obvious loss to everyone.

My miner didn't show signs of being used either, and I am planning of ordering more.
Don't get me wrong but I am not stupid.

And when this guy: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX

Had a mining power of 252TH 2 weeks from now, 2 days from now more than 520TH and today only 450TH (btw 3 hours before it was 490), then don't tell me pre-order or any kind of mining equipment has not been used yet. For the sake of testing purposes let's say  Roll Eyes

Let's be honest here, it's nothing personal it's just business.
You would have done the same.

I would think he is mining on his own or it is a company not selling to the public.

Question for you PSU gurus out there - do you think 2 ANTS OC'd @400mhz/200ghs will run fine/safe on an OCZ 1000W 80+ gold PSU rated @90% efficiency?  They will be on their own 20A/125V circuit.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Yes, that will be no problem.

Curious to see how that's no problem when a single OC ant @ 400Mhz already uses over 500w
(let alone the indicated 1000w is not only 12v and you should never push a PSU to it's max for a long time)
First, I haven't seen an S1 yet that pulls 500W from the wall. Not saying it's impossible, but that would be a really poor unit. The closest of any of mine was 440W for 400MHz/203GH/s from an old Bronze Corsair VX450 that had a big 4 ohm resistor pulling 1.25V from the 5V rail to get it to turn on since it's an old group regulated design. That ran fine for half a week until my server PSUs came in.

Second, even if you had two terrible S1s that really do pull 500W each from the wall with a 90% efficient PSU, you're still only drawing 900W DC and you're only loading the PSU to 90% capacity.

I also have two S1s running on an 850W $40 HEC power supply that have been running over a week and averaging 202.5GH/s and 200GH/s over that time.

He'll be fine with that 1000W PSU.

Hey I purchased an Antminer S1 but in the order  it says Payment confirmed  BUT  I'm unsure about the following

1.45 BTC   Pay:1.45 BTC Confirm:1.45 BTC   Paid Unshipped Expired   2014-02-03 11:57:53.0   View

Why is the status  Pay Unshipped Expired ?  as  my payment has been confirmed  both on bitmaintech site and Blockchain

Cheers

Import issues can be put to rest if the sender includes a commercial invoice which list the value of merchandise in USD and it's description. Description should have a code that all customs' can understand.

I included a note with my order, let's hope they don't forget to put the invoice on the box. Otherwise I will have to wait at least 2-3 weeks for customs clearance. Anyone have experience with the first batches? Did you get the invoice on the box?
