You buy an expensive piece of mining hardware and you feed it with a cheap power supply??? Are you nuts??? Don't ever skimp out on the most important of the equation: POwer. Go get a nice Corsair PSU, at least 500 Watt if you are not overclocking.

"About how much is the customs fee?  TIA"

If you are in UK, about 35 Pounds each, if you're in the good ole US, $0.

I paid 216 for 9.
But there was no consistency in the charges. I received 3 invoices (as the Ants were 3x3) and each got a different amount.

It's a price based on the spot USD/GBP rate.

Is there a Canadian that can speak to our cost?

Thanks for that! I was wondering what the cost might be on incoming units.

^sounds about right. I remember picking up 2 units cost ~$52 (about $20 each plus a $10 or more brokerage fee) while a single unit was about $30 due to the fee still being the same. getting more in a shipment would thus negate some of the fixed fees

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

So I was trying to use the 'Restore to default' setting in my ANTminer today and it restarted automatically like it was supposed to but it doesn't let me log in. I shows the black LuCi screen and then moves to a page cannot be loaded screen.

I am tried used the hard reset by jumping the wires but it does not work. Has anyone had the same problem?

I've had this, and it was a result of the Antminer being on a different IP after the reset.  The Black Luci screen appears to have been cached at some point, but a connection to the unit must be made for the login prompts to appear.  If you have a recent one, the IP defaults to 192.168.1.99, but you can try 192.168.2.99 if you're not getting any action.  FWIW I'm using a laptop to connect to the unit (hardwire) and have to turn the laptop wifi off to gain access.  YMMV.

The antminers use CGMiner, so you can use any pool that supports it.

Decentralize EVERYTHING!
