well, there IS this little website called eBay...  Also, try minersource.net. Lastly, rumor has it Bitmain is culling it's S1 inventory and discontinuing S1 production in favor of the S2. I think they are blowing out the remaining s1s. Full speed ahead on the s2 for now. Im guessing 10000 units will be on the market soon. |

I hope they release more antminer s1's. I have three and I love them. I suppose ill have to ditch my scrypt rigs for an s2.
Does anyone know at all for sure if they are going to sell any more s1's? I would love to get MOAR!

Sorry to hear that. This is really terrible. Personally, I hesitate clicking on external links from those so called 'Wiki' sites. All I know is that Bitmain's official profile and signature here on the forums point directly to his (legit) official website, same goes true for their official FB, Weibo and Twitter pages listed in the 'About Us' section of their site. I went to GoDaddy and did a WHOIS on bitmaintechs and found out it was registered/created on 2014-03-31. |

If I was a hacker and got robbed I would ddos their site everyday.
make a post about it so google can search and archive it.
I hope noone bought the 10000 chip set.
this is a clear example people against btc will use against the crypto currency that there are no fraud and chargeback procedures.

So...I'm really confused about bitmain's business model. Right now they have literally NOTHING for sale...every product is sold out...even U2's in MOQs of 500 are "coming soon". Does anyone know what's actually going on with these guys?

S1s were selling like hotcakes, then they shipped batch 1 of their new s2, and now they're getting ready to ship batch 2 of s2. Probably safe to say they have all they can handle.

Fixin' to get ready to sell something ain't the same as selling something....I don't get why they don't continue to sell the S1s "like hotcakes" even if they have to allocate some of the chips to keep the sales flow going.
The only logical reason I can think of is that their margin on the S1s at the current selling price is so low that it makes sense to build the quantity of the next batch of S2s (which will presumably sell at a much higher margin). Gotta tell you (bitmain) that I would rather buy a few S1s at a slightly higher price than invest $3K in the new S2...maybe it's just me...
