Everything can be dangerous once you used it in a bad way, so if the cryptocurrency used as a tool for a crime then possible to make it a dangerous one. Like in some site that crypto is used as payment for doing transaction like buying drugs, weapon or anything that illegal. And i think crypto industry cannot avoid those illegal transaction to used crypto as tool for payment, that is one of the reason why want government to control crypto.
