Remember when something takes a fall after proving it can reach a high mark it can be a good thing. It sparks more investing and can bring in new investors that are very savvy. Crypto is a lot like stocks. People thrive off speculating the bounce back.

It will only die if it goes to zero and there's no more volume on exchanges.

Like bitcoin, it is coming through a correction and this can be another reason why it's preparing for an upcoming pump. We can't see a big pump if there will be no hitting of the bottom.

And we are starting to see the bottom and the market has been hitting it hardly. Holding it won't lose you but if you panic sell, you'll lose it so be wise and preserve its value by simply holding it.

Very difficult, ether is the basis of much of the current projects, if it falls, you can put things together and run away ^^.However, I agree that ether should not be seen as a form of value reserve, it is more for a current asset.

I Can't think anything at this moment. I don't know what is happening with the crypto market now. When bitcoin was increasing, eth was keeping dowing and eth can't stop going down! I never thought I can see Ethereum at 358 USD again when we are now in August month! I hope this bearish market will end up very soon with a bull run.

For me it's better to hold and buy cheap eth because eth is the longest coin and not just sell it the price falls before and many investors still want the eth because of its future and the more the holder and the eth buyer so do not panic.

Well, the whole market has been dropping like non stop for the last months, and ethereum is just one of the many cryptocurrencies affected by this, I think it is just a phase and that it will recover maybe by the end of the year.

If ETH is now dying then all crypto is now dying. Crypto is not dying. Here's why: just like any other asset that is traded, it is prone to market forces. Look back to 2013 when BTC spiked, how long did it recede for? You think 3 months is a long time to drop for? Be thankful that futures markets stayed the bull rush before BTC hit 20-30k. We might be looking at 3k BTC now had that happened. The market will stabilize itself.

Eth, apart from some supply/PoW vs PoS concerns, is one of the strongest coins out there. It is supported by thousands of tokens, no matter how ridiculous their contracts are. And it has a plan to make transactions scalable and efficient, instead of just having a flat transaction fee of $20-40 no matter how small the transaction.

Most of all Eth has a leader who has a voice and a vision. You can't put a price on that.

My ETH assets have lost 18% in the last few days, which is a big fluctuation. I don't know how long it will last, but the more I get to this moment, the more important it is. If it continues to decline, it shows that the market is really weak, and I will stop paying attention to the password world.
